There is talent in this location. But do not sit In Kentrell Perry's chair!
Mr.Perry only jumped on my head because of the cost. I received permanent loc extensions that cost $1800. Two different  people worked on my hair, two totally different techniques. I can understand minor differences,  but this was major.  
When I left  Locs Naturals and More, after the second day, I wasn't happy. I said to myself, I'll sleep on it, see how I feel.

Well Kentrell's side was horrible! I go in a few days later to be told they "think" they can fix that side. Why do I need to have so much "fixing" for $1800? Well days are passing and this itchy scratchy hard hair is looking rough!  I can only wear it pulled back, if I wore it too low, it felt like I have a goiter on the back of my neck. Not cool!

See the thing is Kentrell wasn't in a hurry to fix my hair, because there wasn't anymore "Stacks" to be made on my head. That's all I heard the first day of seating in his chair, while he conducted business on the phone.  Also, I wouldn't have been  upset with the times he went missing( at one point he had started another loc extension). If the quality of hair and installation was great. But it's not great. And because Kentell's ego is hurt, he not willing to compromise and refund some of my money. I did not ask for all it back, just some. Mr.Perry said he invested his time, but I felt like I didn't stop him from doing other things, I felt I was a squeeze in.
I have an health issue, and that's why I paid $1800. I wanted Locs before I am no longer, but the Locs are in a bag along with the spray that I was given. Didn't make it pass 30 days...
I'll just cross them off my list.
Disappointment is an understatement.

I came to the shop for a microloc consultation after speaking with about 8 other locticians. I met with Kentrel. He came out with great energy and we talked about what I was looking for, my hair, my expectations,etc. Of everyone I spoke with, I seemed to like his space and attituded better. I scheduled the appnt with him which was about 3 weeks out. As the time neared, I asked him if he would style my hair and he said "yes". I got there on time BOTH days( I had to take 2 days off work) Because he had some other business going on, he stopped doing my hair several times to handle his other business, even to do another consultation. I left each day around 4pm. On the second day, he walked off to do something and he had Crown to do my hair and even she was confused that he had taken a while to come back. When he was done, the hair was put in bantu knots. I was angry, but knew that I was too angry to say something at that time. I didn't know he was done until he handed me the conditioner to spray in my hair 3x a week. I was so taken aback that I just got up and paid them. He gave me my next appnt and I even tipped him. The only reason I did tipped was because I wanted him to say " I am not going to charge you full price because I used up a lot of your time". I was so wrong- not only did he charge me the full price, he took the tip. I thought that since this was new if I needed him before the retie, he would assist me. I was so wrong. My hair came out around the sides, and the back and front. By the time of my retie, they said 5 rows were out(on the side he did on the 2nd day) and 3 rows consistent on the sides and front. I reached out to him a couple of times for him to push me off . Even the day of the retie, he would not come to the shop to fix any of my hair. " Shay" was doing my retie, but she ended up fixing my hair and When Roz came in she jumped in and helped her. they really fixed me up and got me styled. it was like they poured life back into me. I really thought I had done my homework and didn't want to go strictly by reviews since I know they are not always indicative of how my experience would be. I paid ALOT of money to get microlocs put in and I expected a certain level of support afterwards. I wore wraps a majority of the time after having my  install. I was ridiculed and I felt slighted for paying that much money and still couldn't wear my hair out. If it wasn't for Shay and Roz, I would have been completely out of 1150.00 because no other Loctician would fix my hair. they kept saying that I needed the original Loctician to fix it because it was too much hair out. They would basically charge me nearly half of what I had already paid him. I was disappointed in him- and he is now the owner. I gave him the opportunity to fix this, but he pushed me to the side. he never responded back to me after I told him how I felt. There was no remedy done,except with Shay when she did my retie. I hate that at this point, I must find someone else. I am not saying do not go to this shop. I am saying to speak up even if you are angry at the time, maybe then you will gain the respect you are practically paying for!! Thank God for Shay and Roz!!!

I have been going to the shop for several years now. It is an excellent facility and the technicians/stylists are expertly trained and most are wonderful and at what they do.. They offer a variety of natural hair services and treatments. They have accessories and natural hair products for sale.

I see someome posted a negative review about the booking process. This business is very popular and there is no perfect business; if you have any concerns or questions they have always been accomodating and understanding. Sometimes u must set realistic expectations and not expect a stylist that u are meeting for the first time to solve all your hair problems in one retightening.

I tThe professionals at this shop have always treated my children and I with care. The pricing is reasonable.
I look forward to going back again soon.

The stylists who are really really good are hard to book so my advice is book them well in advance.

My favorites are Crown and Meyahta( does my daughters hair)

Two of the ladies who used to work here have gone on to start theor own salons so this shows that they are in the business of elevating others to excel in the hair business. See yall again soon :)

This shop was recommended to me by a friend and I love it!! My very first appointment was with Delora and she's done my twists every 4 wks ever since!! I love the outcome and I enjoy my experience there! The location is pleasantly bright and vibrant and so are the people!

I've been going to this shop off and on for about 4 years! I'm very pleased with their service. Staff is friendly, prompt, and courteous. I've had my locs done by several of the locticians and Alex by far is my favorite. They we're all great but I enjoyed my time with her! I will be returning!
