Tango Nails in Garner, NC

Got my nails done a few weeks ago by the owner. I believe her name was Kim. Although I was a walk-in I was willing to wait. Things were going well until she kept getting up to do eyebrows.  My nails looked good upon leaving the salon, but After a few days I looked at them and they were so lumpy because they were not buffed properly, and she did not cover some of the sides with polish. After a week and a half the top of my nail started to snag my clothes, that was because she didn't do a good fill in, I will not return!

This salon is awesome, soon as you walk through the door the vibe is so nice. The salon is clean, all of the staff are professional and friendly. A lady by the name of Tammy does my nails, and she is "GREAT"!!! If you bring her a picture, you will walk out with those nails and a Tammy twist!!! She is the only one who does my nails, she had an emergency one day so the man next to her Quan did my nails...
Let's just say if Tammy is ever unavailable again, I will be calling him!
Go there please, I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

I had Grace at Tango Nails do my acrylic refill. She  changed my short coffin nail shape to a square uneven shape without asking. She did my acrylic super thick and did not bring it all the way up the cuticle line. So it looked like I still needed a refill even after her work. To make things worse, she painted my nails using gel and put so many coats to fix her horrendous paint job that now it looks like my daughter did my nails. I complained and she asked me to return. I left to pick my child up from school came back and she said she was too busy and that I should come back 3 days later. I was upset and asked that someone else fix her horrible job and I was told that I would be recharged!!! I am never ever going back! I was a loyal every 2 weeks customer for the last year until I got Grace for the first and last time. Never again. They're prices Are low and it clearly shows why. I'm so angry.

If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would. This place is an absolute disgrace. It is the most unsanitary nail salon I have ever been to. My mom and I went in for pedicures. The place is not kept well and didn't look very nice. She didn't get started on me for over 20 mins while I sat with my feet in cold water. She finished up with one lady and used the same gloves she used for her manicure to handle her money and then didn't change gloves before starting on me. The chair I was in did not work and my legs were basically at right angles- super uncomfortable. The water was cold and when I asked if it could be warmed she rolled her eyes and used an old cut up milk jug to scoop the water out and pour into the tub of the chair next to mine (which was not cleaned after) I guess my chairs tub didn't drain? They used the cheese grater looking things to scrape my heels, then she tapped it on the floor, rinsed it in my dirty water, and put it back in the drawer she took it out of. Same with all the other tools she used- unclean- used- rinsed in foot water- put back in the drawer. The nail/cuticle clippers and files are all covered in nail dust sitting in glass cups at the stations and again used-rinsed- put back in the cups. Nothing was pulled out of sanitation machine packaging. The file had been so used the sandpaper was tearing off. They clipped my inner big toenail which was very painful and now causing an ingrown nail. She also started cutting my first toenail without asking if I wanted them short or shaped- I asked her not to cut and just to file them and she sneakily kept cutting my nails with the cuticle clippers every time I looked away. She cut a few of them so short they were raw and bled later. She used some kind of harder bristle brush to scrub my feet on top and bottom- she scrubbed so hard it felt like she was breaking skin. She used her dirty gloved hand to reach into a jar and scoop out scrub to rub on my legs (hello contamination). There really was no massage- she poured some oil over my legs and rubbed it in. Aside from the sanitation issues and abrasive treatment- the paint job was horrid. Didn't even brush the paint onto my toenails- literally used the brush to glob paint on (this was regular polish not dip or gel) and kept adding acetone to the bottle to thin out the polish. Didn't wait any time before globing on the next layer and sloppily swiping topcoat across the top. My mom noticed a spot on her nail that was blotchy and asked her older lady nail tech to fix it and she argued that it was fine and wouldn't redo that nail- another lady I presume the owner stepped in and fixed it. My mom wasn't aware what all was happening at my chair and we had masks on so she couldn't see my terrified facial expressions. My mom and I both poured rubbing alcohol over our feet when we got home to try to prevent fungus/infection. It's been a day and I have some sort of rash or maybe abrasions from her scrubbing the tops of my feet so hard with that brush. I wanted to leave after every step of this process but don't get pedicures with my mom often and didn't want to ruin our experience together (my mom was also paying for me so I didn't want to seem ungrateful). I will NEVER go back and STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone reading this to not go here either. I will be contacting the health department about investigating this place.

Literally the worst manicure I've ever had. im on a quick vacation and needed to get my nails done so I picked this place. Literally going home Sunday and getting them redone by my usual place. They used a color I didn't pick. You literally can see through the polish, there's polish all over my nail beds, and there's bubbles in my nails.
