Lisa's Hair Studio 1904 in San Diego, CA

I'd like to be able to review her services but I wasn't able to experience it. I had a Groupon, called and spoke to her a week before appt, booked through app as she requested, texted before appt... long story short- She was a no show. I texted. The texts were marked as "read". And.... nada. No text, no call, no show. Bummer for busy people. Groupon refunded me in "Groupon" bucks.

I have been going to lisa for many years. She is great at color and always listens to what I want. She takes her time and always makes sure I'm happy. I highly recommend her!

I have been with Lisa for probably 2 years now and always follow her wherever she goes because she is worth it! We immediately bonded the first time I saw her and I always leave feeling amazing. I usually do a partial highlight, but a few times I've had her add some colors to spice things up and she always did them perfectly! At one point I had purple, teal and pink strips kind of hidden underneath but they popped in the perfect way. When work finally told me to get rid of the fun colors, Lisa was so great about making sure she did everything she could to get it out and ensure that I was happy with the outcome (it ended up being quite a process unfortunately). I will never let anyone else touch my hair! On top of how natural she makes everything look (I always get compliments for weeks after seeing her), she has been ridiculously flexible with my needing to change appointments due to last minute scheduling issues.

I had a great experience at Lisa's Studio! I too purchased the groupon deal and I was happy with the work Lisa did. Her studio is located in a convenient location in La Jolla where I found close parking easily (and it was a Saturday appointment)... but be aware that many of the spots are 2 hour parking only. Lisa was friendly, professional, and listened to what I wanted done to my hair. I felt confident that she knew what she was doing, and I was very happy when I left her salon. I tend to neglect my hair for long periods of time, but she did a great overall clean up with natural looking highlights and a healthy trim. She specializes in highlights, and I could tell from the work she did on my hair. I loved her studio décor, the bright pink walls were spunky and fun, and she had a full supply of cold water & magazines :) I'd recommend Lisa's excellent services to anyone looking for some highlights and a trim.

Just wanted to write a quick update now that she moved her salon. Her new salon is super cute! She is in her own personal little suite within a salon building in downtown La Jolla -- it is super fun. Also, Lisa did a great job again on my hair and was totally on the same page I was to go lighter and whiter for my blonde highlights (my hair tends to turn golden as time goes on). She specializes in coloring blonde hair etc. so if you're looking for a good person who will dye your hair blonde and not turn it orange then Lisa is your girl! Also, she protects the integrity of your hair by making sure not to fry it. Thank you, LISA! My hair appreciates this very much. PS - super fun hot pink and leopard walls in her suite -- too cute.
