Had a pretty sad experience here. I went in and they were nice enough to take me even though my appointment was at another location. That was pretty much where the customer service ended.
The woman that they assigned to me clearly did not want to do the mani/pedi. She asked me about the shape I wanted and then didn't do it and coped an attitude when I asked her to fix it. Then a white woman came in and she said someone else would help me and she left. And so did I
I will never return here and don't recommend it to anyone especially people of color.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Lamour! My full set was beautifully done and quicker than a lot of other places. My nail tech was so sweet and genuinely cared about my opinions at each step of the process. She was able to perfectly recreate the reference photo I brought in, I will definitely be returning!
I have given this place many chances, but the last time was absolutely the last. I have been to countless nail salons, all over the world, and I have never been cut so badly as I was at Lamour. Not only was the pain awful, but my right big toe was gushing blood. When I nearly started crying and told the woman that she had cut me, she told me I had a hang nail and said she could put something on it to stop the bleeding.
To be hurt like this in a public place is already incredibly uncomfortable, so to minimize the experience left me feeling incredibly disrespected. While I appreciate that the manger or one of the managers took over the pedicure after what happened, I was still charged for the pedicure. What a terrible way to handle this.
If you're going to cut your customer, at the very least, don't charge them for it .
The space is quiet and clean and the folks are inviting. I always leave happy with the quality of my nails. On my 2nd visit multiple workers recognized me!
Had a pedicure, water was cold (they quickly adjusted), cut my toe when trimming skin around nails, and it took 1.5 hours. I wasn't going to leave a review but I left the salon at 4:30 on last night and I had a polish chip when I woke up. Won't return too many salons near by to try.
