LA Style Bar in Largo, FL

Poor business practices across the board here. They charge an hourly rate instead of per service like most salons, then work as slowly as humanly possible. I was stuck in this place for 7.5 hours and outrageously overcharged! The services I received typically take no more than 3 hours, max. I feel completely taken advantage of and misled at the consultation re: duration.

Lia and her colleague, Sirayah, have found the missing link in the chain of hum-drum hair salons! They have escalated cut, color, and styling to a new level! Just what we need here in the Belleair/Largo area! I have been going to Lia once a week for about one year and have been thrilled with the results every single time. If I have forgotten to book with Lia, I'll see Sirayah who is also extremely talented!!

Lia is phenomenal!! I have been searching for someone to give me some high lights with foil and a great cut. Well I finally found her! First we discussed what my goal was regarding color and cut. I showed her pictures and she showed me samples. We selected the right base color with the perfect amount of foils to give my hair just the right amount of contrast. There wasn't any testing or painting of color. She just did exactly what I wanted. ( I had asked for this at a previous salon which told me they had to do a test appointment first.) As for the cut, this lady knows what she is doing! I showed her pictures and just like that it was perfect! I don't usually buy hair products or automatically schedule my next appointment. But with Lia there was no question! I am booked in 5 weeks and because I want to keep this color I asked about the correct shampoo to use. She never pushed the product. Most importantly, I felt very comfortable there! Very nice people!

I let my blond hair grow out - like completely - for almost 2 yrs. I hated my dark hair. It was also worn out from heat rollers curling it daily just to give it some style after years of being straight blond. I was fearful of finding someone new to do my hair as I had relocated to FL. I have been involved in fashion for years and worked w many hair stylists but down here I was new. I read LA Style Bar's many 5 star reviews and went thru Yelp to get an appt. Lia scheduled me, the place is beautifully decorated Urban Chic, Lia is Actually a professional rep for a Keratin product and a SUPERB Hair Technician and Stylist. Not only did she listen, she nailed the color (full foils) AND the cut the first time!!! Love LA Style Bar!!! My hair is beautiful AND healthy again.

So second time here. And it was as great as the first. They take their time to listen and work with your hair type. Really want you to walk out looking your best. My new place.
