Rude - Slow - Bad Paint Job No we are not talking about a old beat up car but may as well be! My wife brought my daughter here for her birthday and had i known how bad it was I would have given away the Groupon Rude - Would not have said two words to them if she had the opportunity and complained about the Groupon process. Had them wait 15 mins while she dealt with her husband at the salon. Now comes the slow part.... Slow - No sense of urgency and for how long it took the quality was not worth the paint job. Bad Paint Job - Paint on nails peeled off before the girls got home! Unacceptable!

I used Lala Nails on a groupon. My first appt was cancelled by Lala.She called and said she was sick and would call me back when she came back to work. She never called. I made another appt and when I got there she said she was double booked and had to work me in, even though I had an an appt. I noticed she did not use any sterilized equipment.I felt she was rushing to get finished. My 2nd appt. was even worse. She told me when I got there at 3pm that she had tried to call me to come in earlier, but did not have my complete phone number even though I had spoken with her prior. She said she had to be somewhere at 4pm. She rushed through my pedicure and really rushed my shellac manicure. As a result my nails started to peel 3 days later!!!!! Unacceptable!!! I also felt she was unprofessional, especially since she stayed on the phone for at least 20mins while doing my pedicure. I will not return!!

My son and daughter in law had bought me a Groupon deal for a Mani/Pedi for my birthday. I called and made an appointment for a Saturday morning and was excited to go, however the Wednesday before my appointment I received a call from the owner and she said I had missed my appointment for that morning and because I didn't call to cancel 24 hours in advance my Groupon was forfeited. I tried to explain to her that I had a Saturday appointment and that there must be some misunderstanding. She was not having in of that and just kept repeating that it was my fault and that my Groupon was no longer good. After hanging up with her she tried to text me to work me in for another time but I was very uncomfortable with the confrontation on the phone with her and told her I did not feel comfortable visiting her establishment. I am working on getting a refund from Groupon but it is a shame because I was looking forward to finding a new place to get my nails done since my regular place closed down. I have never experienced hostility from a business owner as I did that day.

Actually her mani-pedi is pretty good. She uses a cuticle remover as opposed to clipping your cuticles and for me it leaves a better finish, especially a week later - no dry cracked skin from clipping. She seems to take her time doing it. The problem is appointments definitely run over - 30+ minutes. She is the only one in the place and it's small however if she has another client you sit in the front and wait till she's available. I've gone to her 4 or 5 times, hoping it would get better. Today was the last try, she said it would be 30-40 minutes before she could get to me. I expect 10-15 minutes but that is way too long.

Ok, so I felt bad and added a 2nd star just because well the service wasn't bad. Service apart, my mani and my pedi were sub par. My feet were not rubbed, I could have done it with my own pumice stone in the shower. The cuticles were sore from the butchered clipping. My polish was bubbly when dry and my nail was poorly painted. There were parts of my nail unpainted. I had bought a Groupon. She described in great detail just how much she gets from Groupon for providing the service. Then I asked about getting an add'l service and she again explained in grave detail why she would need to charge a lot more for the service because she was not making any money from the Groupon deal. Really?! And who forced you to sign up for Groupon?! But yeah, it was ok. Would not return. The room is dark and tight and appointments seem to run over, so you might be in the room with another customer in close quarters, kinda awkward.
