Too busy to check her online scheduling service, cancelled twice at the last minute, and expected it to be okay. Probably a great haircut if you don't mind having your time totally disrespected; "I'm the only one here," shouldn't be the customer's problem.
After moving to Mansfield, I was in need of a new hair stylist. After reading several reviews, I decided to call Heidi Mitchell at High Maintenance. Heidi takes a lot of time talking with a new client and trying to discern exactly what they are looking for in a cut and color. It's always nerve racking to entrust your hair to someone new, but Heidi did a great job. I'm so thankful I found her, and didn't have to wade through several bad stylists beforehand! I absolutely recommend Heidi.
Stacy at High Maintenance likes to schedule appointments with clients and then ignores them - she doesn't show up for the appointment, she doesn't call to cancel, she doesn't answer client text messages- she's just very rude and unprofessional. Avoid this stylist.
The building is older and smells old. Dust on all the fixtures. Old looking furniture, although the owner did say that she has ordered new furniture. My haircut, I have to say is a 3. To her credit, I did attempt to cut it myself before going so what she had to work with was not optimal, however.....she used the thinning shears. I should have known better. That never works out. She told me she had to do it because of the way it cut it, but I should have said no. It did look good when I left, but running my hands through my hair afterward--I feel bald. AND....it doesn't look good when I fix it. Just doesn't. Nice lady but...if you want the pampered experience, you won't get it here.
