I set in the chair getting my toes done for three damn hours. I asked for cat eye nail polish. They messed up the first polish. They had to redo them again, and still didn't know what they was doing. All they had to do was say, they are not good a cat eye polish. The old lady tech became frustrated, When I had concerns of correcting them. But I'm paying for services, that should have been provided correctly. If you can't, then no problem, Say that. Lole anyone else I can take my service else where. It's as simple as that. And if you are of color, and show any frustration/disappointment They get offended. Never will they get my services again. Then they have a women of color unprofessional as hell. I had to book another appointment with Nail bar in fishers. Thats where I usually go and never will go out nail bar again.
Owned and operated by an older Vietnamese couple who've obviously been doing this a long time. I was able to walk in for a super-fast, efficient pedicure for $30. A regular was in there at the same time, chatting with the husband, while he worked on her hands and feet; he sounded interesting and interested in the world. The wife had my feet smoothed and trimmed and filed (I didn't want polish) and on my way in fifteen minutes. The pedicure tubs had massaging seats, which were nice.
Wow - horrible. I volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the mother I work with called me to tell me about the experience she just had.
The woman in the chair next to her stared her down the entire time she was getting a pedicure. She is black and new to the south side. She said she has never experienced that while living there for the last few months.
What's even more upsetting? She thinks the woman must be a regular because the person doing her pedicure witnesses this entire thing and said nothing while passing niceties to her the entire time.
After reading the reviews, I'm not surprised. Do not go here.
Although the work is okay I am very fed up. It took me a while to realize it but this place is not minority friendly. I've noticed them act strange towards anyone(not just black people) that aren't white. Im black and im a regular weekly customer but these people won't even give me eye contact and always rush me out no matter how friendly I am or how much I consistently tip. After about six months of this I won't be back. Also the one female they have there is extremely rough with the drill and will leave your fingers in pain
My mom's being going for years and will never go anywhere else. We both love Tony & feel right at home when we go there. Honestly I went once and got cut by the drill but my nails are smaller than average so it wasn't really his fault
