Dixie does an amazing job with our daughter. She takes her time and makes sure our daughter is comfortable!
I was looking forward to bringing my daughter here for her first haircut, but was really disappointed when 75% of staff and guests were not wearing masks, despite a city-wide mask mandate and sign posted on the door requiring it. My almost 3 year old began trying to take hers off while we were waiting because "those other people don't have them on." I did not feel they prioritized the safety of guests too young to be vaccinated.
Aside from that, the interior was very dingy and still had holiday decor up mid-February. There was hair all over the floor and the overall sentiment was complacency. We went to Great Clips instead, after calling to confirm they require masks, and were really happy with the result.
Great people. Great quality. I moved to Lawrence 7 years ago and have been going to see Dixie ever since.
I started coming here to get my eyebrows waxed because I haven't been very impressed with any of the eyebrow threading places here in Lawrence. The girls here are so sweet and I was lowkey blown away with how well she shaped and trimmed my eyebrows! They only charge $10 for eyebrow waxing which honestly can't be beat. Highly recommend!
