KC Nails & Spa in Springfield, MO

Horrible service tried to call before hand and the number doesn't work so I decided to show up and the name isn't even the same as online and the had 1 appointment that hadn't arrived yet so they said they didn't have time for me and the hours show closing is at 7pm and I arrived at 2:45pm save tire time and money and go somewhere else

I had an amazing experience with Holly on a Sunday when she should have been closed. She was just in to clean the shop and treated me great. I'll definitely be back.

Terrible service! I had an appointment for another salon on the south side, but woke up late, and we ended up here. First, a client asked the nail tech if she was excited about being pregnant, and the nail tech said "can't do anything about it now." Anyway, my niece wanted grey polish, except for her bug toe where she wanted white with a grey elephant. I pulled up the incredibly simple design for her to show them a picture. I had to wait in the car because the fumes were so strong I got an instant migraine. She told the man what she wanted, and showed him the picture. Instead of answering for himself, he asked the woman (I'm assuming the owner), and she said no. My niece then asked if he could do a chevron pattern in the grey/white on her big toe. He again asked the woman, who again said no. Eventually she text me to tell me her nails were dry, so I could come in and pay. My niece was standing there with a white big toe, and grey on the rest! No design, no heel, nothing. She was so upset. We will be having it fixed tomorrow, and we will not return to this joke of a nail salon.

This is my favorite nail salon here in Springfield. I've been here 3-4 times, and each time, I was greeted by the owners and they were very nice and helpful. The salon is very clean and has a good ambience. They have a great selection of nail Polish colors and they are very good at what they do. I will definitely continue to go here.

In regard to the negative review, (which by the way reviewer has no photo)...I was in the shop that day. There was definitely an argument but the male professional wasn't cussing. I am pretty sure he doesn't know curse words as his English is extremely limited. He did call the police after the customer began cursing and became belligerent over a nail color. The female customer who could not control her emotions had a friend with her who repeatedly asked her to stop and she would not stop yelling. I'm not saying who was at fault and can only speak to what I saw and heard. The male technician was upset but offered for the lady's nails to be free if she would leave the shop.  However, she looked for any excuse to be loud, complain and keep fighting after they began to disagree. Very idiotic.
This shop is awesome. The owner was calm and kind through the entire thing.
Lastly, I was the only client in the shop other than the screaming woman and her very sweet friend, so you can guess who must have written the negative review...
