Associate deliberately plucked gashes in my eyebrows . I believe it was because I questioned how often they change the towels on the table that they have you lay on to get your eyebrows waxed. They NEVER look fresh and appear to be the same ones each time , because they have the same faded areas on them. The associate has waxed my eyebrows at least 4 times in the past and they never looked this bad. The way that she messed my eyebrows up was no mistake. She then attempted to argue with me and say that it was already that way, as if I don't look at my face every day. Just horrible!!!
I have always gone to a different salon but my aunt suggested going here. So I did. I wanted an ambre (pink+white) and they refused to let me choose the pink. They also told me it would be $45, so I showed them a picture of the shape and length I wanted and they proceeded to tell me it would be $20 more for a stiletto. So I decided to just do a single color. They used CRAFTING SCISSORS to cut the tips. They were very aggressive when filing them, to a point where it stung every finger when they applied the top coat. They asked me to pay BEFORE they finished and they charge for a simple repair. They seem to just milk as much money out of you as they can. They did wear gloves and I was pleased with the end product, but I don't think they run the business well or fair.
Professional and amazing customer service. I don't know what they do different but it works, my polish lasts longer and does not chip. I lead a busy life and that is impressive for me. Highly recommend Nu's Nails.
I went to Nu's nails 20 minutes after it opened on Sunday. The place didn't smell very strong like a nail salon just yet and I was able to get the service right away. The place looks clean (some equipment could use some updates). The older lady did a fantastic job with my pedicure. She was very detailed and took the time to make sure she got everything right. I had gel color on some of my toe nails, she was willing to take it off without charging me extra. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the color, because it wasn't exactly the same color from what I chose. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back to get pedicures again!
Went and got my nails done, he made them too thin for it being almond shape and three days later they broke off, on top of it he was going between me and another lady and was really busy.
