K Nails in Elkin, NC

I have so much to say about this place. I'm not upset with how it turned out but I am upset that they lied about what they could do for me because it was more convenient for them to work. I clearly showed a picture of a gel set with glitter and gradient from light purple to clear. When you walk in there is a display case of gel that clearly had what I was looking for. I was told he couldn't do the clear gel gradient so I went along. But then his work was messy and it didn't seem like he was using clean tools or wearing gloves. He does whatever he wants to my nails and finally I ask if he can put a glitter top coat on my clouded nails he said  "no next time" and proceeds to put gel top coat as if putting glitter on was impossible. I also got my toes done and it's was fine but they flooded my cuticles and on both my hands and toes are lots of inconsistencies.

SAVE YOURSELF!!

I wouldn't recommend this place to people I didn't like!

Went to K Nails with a couple of friends for mani pedis and some girl time.  First impression: A little shabby.  The technicians were difficult to communicate with as they appear not to speak much English.  One woman did my pedicure while another did my manicure at the same time.  I had to twist around in the chair and it was uncomfortable.  They did not offer a remote for the massage feature in the chair.

The manicure and pedicure look fine, but for the money I've had much better in other salons.  My friends were very unhappy with theirs.  We all got gel polish and one tech got gel on my friend's fingers and toes.  He walked away to serve another customer and someone else had to come and correct his mistakes.  

The technicians appear to use the same tools on every client without cleaning them.  I've never seen that before.  I'm from Atlanta and I guess my standards are much higher.  I wonder how often the health inspectors check these places in Elkin.

they got the color that I wanted and the exact type that I wanted overall it was just an amazing experience and I loved it I wish more nail salons were like this one. Everything looks very sanitary and nice and I loved it!

Just moved here from Cali and was torn between this place and VIP, as they both had mixed reviews. Went in and got pedicure and full set. Henry did an amazingjob!! I enjoyed just sitting, relaxing and not being talked at. Place could use a deep cleaning but my toes and nails look fantastic!! Will definitely be going back. 5 stars for Henry 3 for cleanliness....particularly equipment .
