The staff is prejudice! My daughter came home crying because the all Asian staff embarrassed her in front of several white customers. Actually, a full house. My daughter and daughter-in-law were the only 2 black customers in the place. Several staff gathered around laughing at my daughter's feet. The technician said loudly, your feet are bad and your big toes have hair on them. She was so embarrassed. I went back to address the issue with the staff because my daughter was humiliated. I believe if an issue is not addressed immediately, people will keep doing it! Also, at this location, black people are denied the same services as white people. White people are fully pampered, but black people are rushed out the door. In addition, black people are charged more. They provided a quote over the phone for a pedicure to my daughter-in-law, but charged a different price at checkout. When addressing this matter with the staff, the main culprit sat in her chair and laughed. Another lady said it was a misunderstanding. I know we cannot change the world, but we should not patronize businesses like this.
I am from miami and needed my nails done today. I was driving from the gym and decided to stop in. I am so glad I did! The girl who did my nails did an amazing job! I usually spend at least $150 -200 on just a French tip in miami but it was SO affordable! She was also so gentle with my hands. From now on I will tell all my michigan friends to come here and I will come here every time I visit from Florida! They do seem like a very popular since it was busy. Thank you so much for my last minute nails !
Ok, only two complaints-- when doing my pedicure she did not scrub much dead skin off, and the "massage" for the pedicure was weak as well as when I did the manicure-- I told them my daughter only wanted her nails painted, and they did the toes anyway which cost more, so I wasn't a fan of that but ..overall the nails they did turned out perfect, like really perfect so I am not that mad abt the other stuff!
So happy to finally find a great place! Kim was not only kind but she was gentle and took her time making the experience enjoyable. Great conversation and wonderful customer service. Thank you again!!
