I visited the Market St location recently while staying in Tallahassee. When I booked my appointment I was very clear in my expectations. I have dark hair but have increasing silver coming in. I explained that I am ready to embrace the silver and asked explicitly if they could provide this service. I was assured that this was absolutely doable. The person who scheduled me told me that an experienced stylist would be needed to accomplish this. The receptionist gave me three names of experienced stylists. She placed me on hold to verify an open appointment. She came back to the line with the name of a fourth person. I questioned her about this and her response was anyone could provide what I wanted. And this person was experienced enough. This was a red flag but I decided to give her a chance. I made the appointment. On the day of the appointment, I explained exactly what I wanted and showed the stylist a picture of a model with silver and pewter colored hair. I told her this is what I wanted. She said no problem. It might take a couple of sessions to get totally silver but she could do it. She took an extraordinarily long time to do the foils. This is not my first time having foils. I questioned how little hair she was coloring. She told me the silver would show beautifully against the ash. So I waited as she continued. When she rinsed my hair she was extremely pleased with the results and couldn't wait to show me the big reveal. She kept me turned away fro the mirror while drying my hair. When she turned me to the mirror I was so disappointed. I couldn't see any silver. If anything my hair appeared darker. I was quick to tell her, I didn't like it. It was not what I asked for no what I expected after four hours in the chair. She was stunned that I didn't like it. I reminded her of what I had shown her and asked her to do. She began telling me that what I wanted was a process that would take multiple appointments. I was floored this was not what I was told going in. She told me she needed to speak to her manager to see what she could do. The response from the manager was to ask for photos after which she asked me to pay for the appointment and rescheduled me for 3 days later. When I walked out of the salon my daughter asked what did they do? The color was that fine it was noticeable. On my return appointment, the owner assisted the same stylist with doing my hair. They decided to detox my hair and remove color. I thought that meant we were on the right track. My hair lifts easily and I told them that. The both worked on foiling my hair. I expected results. Five and a hours I was turned to the mirror and extremely disappointed to see very little silver and more dark. So nearly ten hours later and being charged $149 ($20 coupon for being new) I walked out disappointed again. When asked if I liked I was honest and said no. I came to this shop looking for a permanent stylist as I am relocating to the area soon. I will keep looking. Make sure you are clear with what you want at this salon. Hopefully, you will have a better experience. Staff is very friendly but that didn't make up for the disappointment.

I've had several stylist at this salon, and my last visit will be my last. Adrienne was very rude as a stylist and did not make me feel welcome at all. There was a customer appreciation event in the store going on and she knew nothing about it and didn't want anything to do with it. She bullied me with her words and probably should have taken a mental health day instead of spreed her evil words to her clients

I was very pleased with my hair visit! My stylist Melanie was very professional and made my visit ever better! I left a new women !!! I received a well needed hair cut that was perfect! Color treatment for my grey hair and a bit of Pizazz of pop color ! Thank you ! I wish I lived here to come back routinely.. go to place ..

I didn't have the best experience for a multitude of reasons that I won't list here, I'm mainly leaving a review because the salon wanted me to fill out a survey where I detailed my experience, the response mentioned that management would reach out to me and I was never contacted.. this was weeks ago. So be warned that regardless of your experience, especially if it's negative, nothing will be done.

I made an appointment last week. I made sure to have the day off since I have been very busy working. Unfortunately, the day of, I noticed I hadn't gotten a confirmation text or email so I decided to call them two hours and a half before my appointment. They told me they tried calling and their call wasn't going through. I asked them if they had my number to text and email address. They said they did. I don't know who dropped the ball here but time is precious and I've spent the last hour trying to find a new salon to set an appointment up without luck. This could have been managed better.
