Intrigue Salon & Spa in Canton, OH

Myself and my wedding party came here for our hair styles on my wedding day. All the bridesmaids were getting their hair done in low side-buns with some curled pieces, I was getting a half-up/half-down curled style. I was with Jessica, who was extremely rude. I had my trial run scheduled for Wednesday of the week I was getting married. Long story short, I had to cancel my trial run due to unavoidable circumstances that were out of my control. When I came in for my styling, my hair was already straightened from the day before, which I've always been told to do since my hair is naturally very bushy, frizzy, and wavy. Jessica made multiple comments about it saying "you shouldn't have come in with it straightened" and when I apologizer and said I didn't know, she made another snide comment saying, "well this is why you should've come to your trial". She made other short, rude comments along the lines of how much hair I had and how she wished she would've known (even though I told the receptionist when I scheduled) and just seemed exacerbated by everything. My hair did turn out great in the salon, but fell out quickly due to the heat. I had to re-curl my hair myself in my hotel room before heading to our venue. On top of the poor service, they charged me a whopping $85 for a HALF up-do! Literally all she did was pin up half of my hair and curl it. Way over-priced for what was done, but because it was my wedding day and had places to be, I just paid it and left. I recommend to anyone getting their hair done for their wedding day to explore other options. You'll probably get better service and a better price somewhere else.

I met Leslie yesterday and I told her if I wasn't coming back for my hair, I'd come back just for the conversation!! Leslie isn't just a hairstylist, she's a "cornucopia of knowledge", ha! She's got deep roots in Canton, Ohio and knows a lot about a lot. When it comes to her skills as a stylist, I'm very picky and I was impressed. I had an old gift card I needed to use up, so I was nervous about a new stylist doing my hair as I've been seeing the same one now for years! I haven't had anything done to my hair in three months since I gave birth to my son in August and my hair desperately needed a pick-me-up, so I picked up the phone and made the appointment. My fiancé MAY have also been hinting (insisting?), pretty frequently, that it was time to touch things up, ha! I left with hair that I LOVED, great color and a great cut! Thank you Leslie, I hope I see you again!

Disappointed. Called to make appt, and they scheduled me, good. I asked how long she had been doing hair and they said "a long time". Got in, she'd Ben doing hair for 4 years. I don't consider that a long time. My hair is very thick and very frizzy, so I asked her to thin out with thinning shears and at the ends by cutting into it. She used a razor to thin me out and now double frizzy! Sweet and nice girl, but disappointing in the misrepresentation from the front.

Kristina is awsome- so creative and innovative- 5 stars for how great she is and how everyone there is so talanted and kind. Everytime I am in town i have to go here and when i return to my town everyone compliments me and tells me how fantastic my hair is. Wish i could come all the time :(

I've been coming here since the original owners. It's changed hands since then but always get great service, and great cut/color. Everyone here is very nice and friendly!
