House Of Beauty Medspa (formerly The Beauty Bar) in Richmond, KY

Went here for my first ever Brazilian wax and I never thought it would be a comfortable experience but it really was! I'll definitely be going back to Jaclyn every 4 weeks as recommended. Definitely worth the money. She not only made me feel super comfortable but she did a fantastic job. If you have high expectations this is definitely the place to go.

I got a Brazilian done for the first time ever last Wednesday. I had never had any type of professional waxing outside of my eyebrows... as you can imagine I was a little scared! I had called Tuesday evening and asked to book an appointment for a bikini wax, Jackie got me in the next morning!

When I arrived she had calmed me down and reassured me that it wasn't as bad as I think. She walked me through every step and by the time the first few strips were done I decided to go full Brazilian.

Getting naked from the waist down can be weird when its a stranger, but Jackie made me feel extremely comfortable. She told me how this is strictly professional to her and she doesn't pay any attention to the areas that don't require it. The whole process took about an hour and by the end I was happy to have went through with it!

Now, a week later, I am still smooth and love the way my skin looks (no razor burn or itching!) I have booked another appointment and will continue to as long as I am getting waxes!

I wholeheartedly recommend going to The Beauty Bar in Richmond, KY to see Jackie for all your waxing needs... especially if it is your first time!

Amazing! I've never had an unfriendly stylist before but I've definitely never had one that I felt as comfortable with as I did Penny Cotton. I can't say enough good things about the incredible job she did, both with my hair and myself as client. I immediately felt I could trust her with my hair; she understood exactly what I wanted and met (exceeded) my expectations with perfection. All while balancing the perfect level of professionalism and yet laid back and relaxing interaction with me. In the end, she made me feel beautiful and confident. My experience with her has made a lasting impression on me on what a trip to the salon should be like.

Jackie is so friendly and easy to talk to. Hairdressers like her are hard to come by!
