Hot Headz Hair Salon in New Port Richey, FL

If you are a male "do not" I repeat "do not" get your hair cut here. Went in for a walk in and asked for a short caesar cut and left looking like the photo. I had to have someone fix my hair the next day. The guy I went to said the woman that cut my hair lost her guide and the cut she gave me was not even close. I will say she was in a rush to get me out of her chair it felt like.

We always ask for Tammy. She seems to be the only one who knows how to cut my husbands curly hair-fro.

1st.. gift cards are just business cards with amount written in it. I used twice, husband went to use ( while I was in hospital) Over $20 should have been left l. Nothing left, they had charged me for a color, not a hair cut ( i have colored my own hair for 57 yrs) won't make adjustments 2nd issue..started to go in ( during virus) waiting customers not wearing masks or distancing. Ok , i will just leave 3 rd issue .. still not many masks, but have been vaccinated. After waiting a few minute, one operator started going off on Mexicans. Ex-hairdresser here..never discuss politics in a business, i left and will not be back, even though it's near to my home

I went to Hot Headz in the first week of Dec.2019 to get some Highlites in my hair which is black and long.The stylist asked me what I wanted done and I showed her a picture also told her exactly what I wanted. She asked me when was the last time I had my hair dyed.I told her NEVER! I am 73 and haven't been in a salon in 42 years the last was for a hairdo for a wedding.No cutting no dying) She than asked if I was sure.I've only had my hair cut 2 times in my life once at 15 and once at 33.(I cut my own bangs) Now I was just getting some grey roots and since my hair was long I wanted some grey highlites so when the grey roots start to grow longer they would blend in with the grey highlites but keep my hair predominently black and did not want any underneath only on top layer and Not blonde as my husband doesn't like blonde...well 6 hrs later I was almost all blonde and brassy especially around my face and underneath. I was shocked and told her my husband is not going to be happy and he wasn't.I went back the next day and she put in lowlites to give it more dark still looked bad. Then it started to crumble off she had fried my hair and it looks like the hair of many colors.I don't even want to go out because it looks so bad and I'm scared to death to go to another salon as I don't know what will happen. Any suggestions where to go to get my hair decent again?

i don't like being processed like a military lineup and wait between services amongst other customers. I like going to a hair salon to get my hair done with good service and be relaxed but not here. It's all about how fast they can get you out and work on other customers while they're working on you.!! This place is not about quality and good customer care and I found that very disappointing. Their prices are never the same either. In addition they always gossip about their customers because I can hear them.
