Salon Ultima in New Port Richey, FL

Chelsea is the best! I came in with uneven color: roots, ends all messed up. She listened to what I wanted and got creative. She did exactly what I asked and managed to correct all the uneven color with beautiful hilights. She also gave me a beautiful haircut and styled my hair expertly. She managed to make my flat frizzy hair silky smooth and full. I can't recommend her enough. 5 stars!!!

I was not super impressed with this salon. Although I did meet the owner when I first walked in and from what I could tell, she does lovely styling. But when I went in recently, I was assisted by a young lady that does not know what being in customer service is about. She would ask me a question and then interrupt me when I answered her. She did not have a servants heart and made my hair appointment all about her. She was very self absorbed. Since people are bound to have off days, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. But she could not bring herself to care about my hair the way I felt she should have. Not only were her customer service skills lacking, she didn't do much with my hair, either. My highlight was so basic, I could hardly tell she did anything to it. I walked out with a trim, at best even though I asked for a cut. I won't be back, which is too bad. I should have asked the owner to do my hair as it seems she has a following of loyal customers. Lesson learned. I gave it 2 stars because technically, she didn't mess my hair up. But she didn't do a wonderful job, either. And listening to her during the entire session was painful.

PLEASE steer clear of this salon. My boyfriend surprised me with a Groupon for microblading with Peggy because I was so sick of penciling in my 90's pencil thin brows. I went in and had the procedure done, followed the care instructions provided to me, but within 4 days you could noticeably see sparse bare spots, as well as very thick lines at the arch of my brow. I reached out to her via text, to see if I could come in to have them fixed because I was unhappy with the way they looked. I received ZERO response until the day before I was supposed to go for the free touch-up. I am sure you guessed already that I did not go back. I was not about to let her touch my eyebrows and make them worse. The lack of professionalism, as well as the botched job that was done has led me to leave this review. It was a complete waste of $200. Groupon won't refund my money because the voucher was redeemed, and when I mentioned it in my text to Peggy she skirted around the issue and didn't even bother to knowledge the question. I am now having to shell out more money to fix the botched job that was provided by this salon. Unfortunately I can't attach photos to this review.

I'm new to town and Sandy the owner is the most welcoming, fun and kind woman ever. Chelsea worked on my hair and she listened to everything I asked for and while I wasn't too sure of what I wanted, she helped me figure it out by weeding out the things I didn't want. She made my updo perfect and even gave me hair spray to take home because I didn't have. After seen their hair, I'm thinking I will finally stop driving my to Miami for color. These girls were the highlight of my day and made me feel incredible and look fabulous for my party. So glad I found them on yelp!

I had permanent eyeliner done today Peggy was awesome! She is sweet and very patient with my nerves. It didn't hurt like I thought it would, I would do it all over aging with Peggy only!!! I will recommend her to all of my friends. Thank you Peggy!!!!
