Heavenli Handz Beauty Salon, LLC in Chesapeake, VA

So let's get into this review because I'm highly disappointed in the way this place has turned out. I found this salon on Instagram because I was interested in color. I went to this salon a year ago and my hair was perfect. It held a curl and it was bouncy and full of life for weeks. I even went to the gym and it was still good. Now fast forward a year. I go to this salon and it is dirtyyyyy they don't clean anything and their stylists are kind ratchet and doing their own hair while there is a salon full of women that need their hair done. Now the girl that washed my hair barely scrubbed it. I had to tell her not to be scared and please scrub my hair because it is very thick. She sits me under the dryer with a protein treatment and it's just dripping down in my face and all over my neck I asked for the Cotton ring so that it wouldn't get in my eyes. She was like it's not the treatment getting in your eyes it's just the water. Smh whatever but I would like to not have my face wet from products while I'm sitting under this dryer. Then we get to the seat for her to blow dry my hair and she is super freaking rough like I have thick hair she needed to comb from the bottom up and she's just yanking chunks of my hair out of my head. I asked for her to slow down because it felt like she was rushing. She was like oh okay my bad and keep going the same way. Finally she gets done and my hair still feels a bit damp but now Maxine(the owner) is straightening my hair to get a good look at it to trim it. She trimmed bout three inches and said it was damaged. I'm okay with that but if you trimmed off the damaged ends then why is my hair not holding a curl now?, why does my hair feel dry and lifeless? Why is it a fuzz ball again. Like what the hell? I've done everything I was supposed to do wrap it with a satin scarf and not let water touch it but only being able to have a 92$ style for only one day is ridiculous. I called my beautician this morning about the issue I was having I asked maybe she used different products or was my hair not complety dry when she flat ironed it??? I just wanted to see if she will fix it or give me a discount on my next visit and she said no. She states that because I havent been to her in a year this is the reason why my hair wont hold a curl or stay straight. I know that is not true because whe she did my hair last year I had not been to a beautician to straighten my hair for two and a half years. That first hairstyle she did a year ago was beautiful and that is why I returned back to her. I eventually asked for a refund then and she said I dont know what to tell ya and hung up. Needless to say I will never return to her.

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. I will sum it up real quick. 2:00 appt arrive 1:45 5 people waiting to be serviced ine in chair one with hair blown out waitong to be curled one under dryer with conditioner one in abother chair with conditioner waiting to be washed out one waiting to be washed do the math. So disrespectful to a first time client but hey you live and learn. I guess that's why they charge a deposit. I guess most people will wait not me. You will lose more than the deposit I gave you today. You already because of the service I didn't do. Plus believe me there are too many stylists as good as the next to be treating folks like this

Do not attend this salon. Very unprofessional. The stylist was very passive aggressive. She ineffectively communicates with clients . The owner has displayed negativistic behaviors on more than one occasion. Overbooks clients and rushes you out. Inappropriately speaks to clients ...LOUD and brash behavior (the owner). The worst experience of my life. Do not bring your kids to this salon. I saw the owner yell at a child client because she was tender headed. The owners behavior is unacceptable.
