Stopped in for a manicure and pedicure but I wont be back. The service was so bare-bones that I felt sad for them. The heat was very low so by the end of my visit my hands and feet were freezing. I have never received a manicure before where they didn't at the very least put lotion on my hands, or cuticle oil and the only callus removal available for the pedicure was the cheese-grater. No pumice stone or anything other option. My technician never introduced herself and never smiled or chatted. When she was done with my pedi she sent me to her manicure station and then spent ten minutes cleaning the pedi chair out while I sat there. I went to this location for years, through several previous owners but it is time to find a new spot. This was too stressful!
Please be alerted! I received nail fungus from this salon. I was a repeat customer when the salon went under new management and, at first, I was very happy with the new changes including new furniture and equipment. After my last fill for poly-gel nails, my fingernails hurt and started lifting. I have gone to nail salons for 20+ years and I had never had this happen and was very concerned. I went back to the owner for help and to have the poly-gel removed to see what the issue was. I was devastated to see that EVERY nail had fungus. The owner denied it and said "this kind of thing happens when you reach a certain age." ???????? I was further charged for everything and left the salon in tears. I have since been to the dermatologist and have been prescribed Jublia (for nail fungus) at $65 per month and have to treat my nails for at least 8 months. Please do not go to this salon!!!
My first experience at halo nails was very disappointing. The lady did an awful job on my nails, they looked fabulous when she was done but my natural nails are beyond damaged let alone my nail isn't even on my nail bed anymore and I'm in so much pain. For the past 6 years I have been getting acrylics I have never experienced such a horrific job. Once again the artwork looked wonderful but my natural nail is beyond damaged.
Cut my cuticles to the point where I was bleeding for over an hour. Was charged $59 when all I got was a basic gel fill and was not compensated for the fact that I was actively bleeding. Emailed the shop three times with photos and never heard back to rectify. My fingers still hurt 5 days later and I had to bandage my fingers for two days following my fill.
They charged me $90 for an acrylic manicure. I'm pretty sure they just make prices up because there was no menu or price board and my friend had gone there the day before and got a much different price for the same thing. I would ask one girl what something cost and then another girl would yell and her and correct her to a higher price. There was also a little boy working there with glasses who was so rude and physically forced us to tip and was making fun of customers. Very over priced and not the best service
