On a positive note, I've been going HairMasters for many years and Chau has done an excellent job in coloring, cutting and styling my hair. I give Chau 5 stars. On the negative note, management recently added cameras around the salon. I understand a camera facing the cash register, but not where I'm getting my hair done. It feels like management is spying on customers and it's employees. Are we being filmed? If so I do not consent to it. Does management not trust its stylists? It doesn't reflect a positive friendly, trusting environment for customers and stylists. Please consider removing them.
If you want a trusted hairstylist and true professional I highly recommend Diana, I have been going to her for a couple of years now and does amazing at coloring and styling each time I go, she's very attentive to her clients and follows up with you afterwards, I'll definitely come back just for her.
The ladies are nice, but I would only recommend that you visit them for a trim and nothing more. Overly priced and little skills.
Chau has been my go-to stylist for the past 5 years (men's haircut). I only needed to explain my preferences the first time, and I've gotten a consistent haircut ever since, every two months, without having to ask her to go back and fix something after she's done. She's friendly and knowledgeable (even had a great recommendation for a hair transplant specialist that I ended up using). And the business has great ventilation, so it doesn't have the chemical smell that other hair salons have. Try her out!
Chau Tran is the best! I've had three haircuts by her, after years in Irvine trying to find a barber who gives a consistently great men's haircut!
