Botched up my hair and left me looking for someone else to fix it :( don't recommend for any sort of coloring service - can't say for hair cuts as I didn't let her do anything else to my hair

I came in for a men's tight curl perm. This was my 3rd perm ever and first time by ivy. She did the best job and she was fast. My perm only took about a hour, all my other perms that had me there for 2.5 hours and they put too much chemicals and would have my sitting under that hot lamp for a hour straight. She was really nice I'm definitely coming back.

I called and asked for a wash and blow dry. They accommodated me immediately, at 5pm on a Wednesday. I arrive at the salon and the lady begins to wash my hair. She does not even suds up my whole hair, barely touches the middle back of my hair. I should have stopped her right then, but I'm too nice. She takes me to the chair and begins blow drying my hair, a messy kinda pre-blow dry, which I'm ok with. Then she proceeds to blow dry my hair in a manner that I have never in my life had my hair blow dried. She uses a regular brush to start blow drying it downwards and flat onto the top of my head, applying the hot coils in the open end of the dryer directly to my hair that is bleached blonde, which will absolutely damage the hair and make it brassy. So I said to her that I've never had my hair blow dried this way and she said she was doing it this was because I did not want my hair ironed... so I told her that I may not want a flat iron, but I still want some volume to the top of my hair, not pasted down, and that applying the blow dryer without a nozzle directly to my hair will damage it. She said your hair is so long... I was like ??? My hair is to my mid/upper back, just below my shoulders, slightly wavy as I have a straightening treatment. I told her usually people who blow dry my hair use a round brush and use the directional nozzle to direct the air to smooth the hair cuticle. She seemed annoyed and started digging around for the attachment and said she has been doing hair for 20 years and she doesn't use it. I said ok do whatever you are doing. She finds it and starts blow drying my hair with a very small round brush and each section she does, she completely ignores the ends of my hair. At this point I'm getting frustrated and thinking I wasted my money. At the end of her sectioning off and drying with the round brush my entire hair is still damp, she takes out the regular brush and starts fluffing it up at the root and drying it in this way. So I tell her after a bit that the ends of my hair are not blow dried, and you can see that they are still frizzy and messy, not sculpted with the blow dryer. She gets the round brush back out. And at this moment I realized I have wasted my time, damaged my hair, my hair is not even clean, and that she just doesn't get it. I asked her how much, she said $35. I said I will pay you for your time, but you do not know how to properly blow dry or wash hair. I paid her and left. This was an epic fail of a hair nightmare. My hair is poufy, frizzy, and dirty. Can't imagine trusting this lady with color or scissors. ‍
