Guys And Dolls Hair Salon in San Antonio, TX

Rosie at Guys and Dolls turned me into a totally new woman. I brought in two different inspo pics for my color and cut and she turned it into MAGIC!!!! She checked with me during everything to make sure I was happy. I've never been so thrilled with a hair stylist before. As long as we are both in San Antonio, no one else will ever touch my hair. (before with blondish/brown dead hair and after with black hair and copper highlights) 10/10 recommend Guys and Dolls and especially Rosie!

5-star service & haircut! Rosie is very informative on the best way to care for my hair, including product recommendations for my specific concerns. She also use all high-quality products and she seriously gave me one of my best haircuts I've ever had, doing exactly what I had asked for. I'm so happy & relieved to have finally found my new hair salon.

I had gone to Guy's and Dolls a few times yrs ago but since it had been so long I checked out the reviews. One of the reviews mentioned Rosie and how the customer just showed her a pic and she did a great Jon! So I was like okay let's call them, Rosie answered and I scheduled my appt! She was the sweetest person I have met in a long time! I showed her what I was looking for and the issues I have been having with my hair. She gave me some advice on it and went to work! I recently had a baby and my hair has been coming out in knots and when she was finished I almost wanted to cry with how happy I was with it! I will be going back for sure!! Thank you for making me feel pretty again! ​

Came here because it was advertised as "Guys and Dolls Hair Salon" on Potranco, and that's what the storefront said when I arrived. The place I normally went to recently closed, so I was trying to find a new salon in the area with decent reviews and affordable prices. Was told the cost would be $20, ended up getting charged $10 more. The hair cut itself was a disaster. Very uneven and blunt chop when I asked for a trim and to keep my hair the same shape. I don't have any layers, but now there are uneven chops and lengths in my ends, and it looks like she tried to cut it straight across when my hair was rounded at the bottom and I asked for the same shape. She straightened it very poorly and there were still waves in the back of my head, and she didn't use any heat protection when the reason I came in to get my hair trimmed in the first place was because it's dry and damaged. She didnt trim any of the hair around my face so I still have split ends. When she asked me to look at it, the shop was so dimly lit that I couldn't see what it really looked like until I got home. It was also the most rushed hair cut I have EVER received with a world record time of under 5 minutes. And I get charged by a company under the name of "Rosie Cuts"? I would advise everyone to stay away from here. I can only hope she goes to school to get a cosmetology license if she doesn't have one, and I hope for the salon to never hire anyone who isn't certified. I would have preferred to risk cutting my own hair with how horribly my hair turned out. I have never left a review on anything in my life but this was shockingly horrible.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Zuly messed up my hair so bad and I had to have someone cut more off it to fix it. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home and straightened it. She should not be cutting hair!!!! Thankfully I got my money back but DO NOT GO HERE!
