A gel manicure involves similar steps but uses a gel-based polish and UV light to cure the polish, resulting in a more durable finish that can last up to two weeks without chipping.

Certainly could have been much better first time I went in been took care of me gave me an entire new set with French with gel color along with a $40 upgrade on the pedicure with a gel color and my total bill when Bella was ringing me out was 125 so I gave a $30 tip to Ben thanking him for the service he provided me. I went back today for a pedicure I got the basic one which was 30 because I just gotten one a week and a half ago and I just wanted to relax and get a fresh color and when I went up to the counter they charged me $30 for the pedicure and $20 for the gel color I was absolutely offended and disgusted at how they're trying to charge me I did speak up about it and they said $20 for gel color. Go to another nail salon because they changed their pricings they charge you whatever they want and it's really offensive when you get to the counter for the service that I received so my tip reflected how disgusted I was as well as I will not return.
Don't be fulled for by the menu I got a fill and some how it was $40 for that and missing two nail. Look I would have gone to Venice nails that would have offered a drink and a lot cleaner. I felt ripped off for the experience and I would have just gotten a full set for $35 according to their menu. I only went there because they had no wait and it was obvious and poor planning on my place
Will not be returning here. I went last week to get a shellac manicure and it was completely ruined in less than a day. I paid $10 extra for nail removal service and the woman POPPED my set off. She didn't soak my nails so they would come off easily, she popped them off as if as if they were already coming off which they weren't. It was a very painful process, I told her that it hurt and she continued even though I pulled my hand away. When I looked around the salon, I saw every other technician working on nails properly but I had to sit through something painful while other paying customers get nice relaxing service? Fast forward to a week later... the shellac is off completely and my nails are still incredibly sore from that experience. I now have hangnails and nails growing in the wrong direction because of this service. I wasn't going to leave a review but the amount of pain my nails are still causing me is absolutely ridiculous. I paid $55 in total for a shellac manicure for bad service. Will NOT be returning here under any circumstances.
I always call ahead and make an appointment with Tran. She never disappoints me ! I see work of others there on Instagram and they are good as well! Other places I get cut and i get scared, they don't care. I don't trust just anyone with my nails. I've been going to Tran for about 2 years. The pic attached is just one pic of the most recent set. If I try anywhere else I regret it. Lol 5th ave is very friendly, and always busy! When you walk in they are checking temps and there are glass shields for the receptionist and the desks. I highly recommend booking an appointment at this location , even with Tran if interested!
This place is the absolute best!!! They have the absolute BEST customer service and I have never once been disappointed with my nails, they are all so talented. They temperature check, and make you wash your hands when you enter and distance you from others. I will be loyal to this place forever they. are. awesome. and affordable
