This place is old, dated, rundown and dirty!, usually only one "Hack" in there butchering Hair!, stay away!...
I go here all the time. I always find them helpful and friendly. They do a great job at a reasonable price! They also take appointments if you find you prefer that rather than waiting. If it is a short wait there is a grocery store close by.
We used to go to the location on Sashabaw until they closed it. This was our first (and last) visit at this location. The front window says no appointment necessary, of course that means if you're willing to wait an hour (we never had this issue at the Sashabaw location). The woman behind the counter rudely said since we didn't have not appointment there would be a long wait. Sometimes a haircut is a spur of the moment thing for us and making an appointment doesn't work. Unfortunately we won't be back here.
Went there twice in the last two days. Both ties they told me it will be 30 minutes. I waited by the outside door. First day I got back in and the lady said it will be 30 minutes more due to some other appointment as though she already heard it or didn't think of it before. The secondary went and the same thing. She told me I'm next. Waited and then some guys walked in and she took him ahead of me because he was only going to take 6 minutes. Delusional staff, walked off and will never go there again. They need training in commitments.
It was late-ish on Thursday, but I thought I'd try to get in to get a quick hair cut. I called first and the lady said there were a couple people ahead of me but "Come on down!" I came on down and naturally, the other lady coldly informed me that they aren't taking anyone else. I said, "I just called before I drove down here!" Nasty lady walked off but the nicer one that I had talked to on the phone said, "Maybe we can get you in." It was 7:05 and they close at 8. I'd rather you just be honest and say that you can't get me in today than have me waste all that time and gas. Now I'm out 30 minutes of time and I'm also irritated.
