If you want a quick haircut, go here. If you don't, please never waste your time here. While the staff is usually friendly and the app may be convenient, I can say with confidence there are about 3 people in the whole store qualified to cut hair. The rest have left my hair botched in all kinds of different ways, and when I went to a professional stylist she was absolutely mortified by what was done to my hair.
It's not only the finished product that is completely awful; their methods are all very amateur. When getting my sides buzzed, they tended to use a low buzz module that was painful and yanked at my hair when they should've eased into it. I also have a cowlick that must be cut with the shape, but they mostly ignored it completely, which I learned now is NOT at all correct. I even had a manager correct my stylist because she didn't know what she was doing!
All of this was for 15$, which I feel is overpriced for such a terrible cut. I only frequented there because I needed to always keep my hair short for work related reasons, but thank god I have moved past the need for that.
In short, their methods are amateur and not worth 15$. Friendly people though.
My sons like getting their hair cut at this Great Clips location. The staff are always very friendly. Sometimes they do get a cut they aren't super happy with but their hair grows quickly so in about a week it's just how they like it. Since this location moved from its former spot across the street, I have noticed they don't always run the specials(like the periodic $6.99 special)at this location that the company advertises. On those instances, we will visit another Great Clips that is running the special.
I love the App Great Clips has to be able to check in online and see how long the wait time is for each location in my area. If I'm in a rush or don't have much time to squeeze in a haircut, this is an invaluable tool. Just saving on waiting in line once I arrive is awesome but the plus of looking up hours, and other location wait times is the best!
The convenience of this particular location will always trump any other Great Clips for us. It's in a larger shopping center with a Lowe's Foods, TJ Max and a few restaurants with plenty of convenient parking.
