I have never taken the time to write a review of a business before, but I felt one was warranted after my experience at Dejavu.

I made an appointment for my husband and I to get a manicure and pedicure because our usual establishment was booked that day. Dejavu came recommended by a friend and she informed me the prices were "average." I received a gel manicure and pedicure and my husband received a normal manicure and pedicure without polish. During his manicure, the technician clipped his cuticles so far back, he was made to bleed. My technician, however, did not clip my cuticles enough, leaving me to go home and fix them myself.

The cost for our services that day came to $142! Far beyond our usual price and not at all what we were expecting. My husband kindly tipped both technicians $20, bringing our total to $182! Our jaws were agape due to the high cost. We are a lower income household, but my husband wanted to plan something fun for both of us to enjoy that day.

Fast forward to six days later, the gel polish on my fingernails has already chipped away (it usually lasts for weeks if done properly), and I have a bad infection on my big toe. This has NEVER happened after a pedicure before! I am so disappointed with my experience at Dejavu and I hope others will be better prepared for the high prices and mediocre service before scheduling an appointment.

I used to love coming here. The quality and service used to be great. I asked for almond shaped orange nails. What I received was crooked circular/round nails. I was able to receive a pedicure and a full set manicure in about an hour. The final result of the manicure shows the poor quality that comes out of rushing. Also not to mention I got them done 2 minutes ago and they look about a week grown out.

Haley does it best. She works Friday and Saturdays. Only go to her now. She's a perfectionist and I love my nails always

I have visited this salon twice. The fist time was for pedicure & gel. The service was nice, but the owner immediately suggested gel when I mentioned a pedicure. She didn't even give me a chance to actually tell her all of the services that I wanted. Other than that, everything was fine & the gel lasted for about 3wks. The second visit wasn't as pleasant. I walked in, told them what I wanted (same lady that greeted me during the first visit), & they told me to pick a polish color. After selecting my color, they just left me standing there. I had to ask them "which chair?" I felt like they didn't want to provide the service. I sat down, the same lady (im assuming she's the owner?) began to chip the old gel polish off of my toes. She then got up & walked off without saying anything. A few minutes later, a younger girl sat down & began working on my toes. She didn't say anything or even look at me. She touched my wet toe on the last layer with the LED light, which left a little dot on the polish. After applying the clear coat, I thought it evened back out, so I didn't say anything. When she was finished, she got up and walked off. She didn't announce that she was done, didn't walk me to the register for my total, nothing. She just left me sitting there. I figured she was probably done, but I wasn't 100% sure. After a few more minutes, I asked the first lady (owner?) if I was done and she said yes & rung me up. While ringing me up, she was doing the same for another girl and tried to give the other girls card to me. One week later, I was back in the salon because the gel polish had came off of two of my toes. Another young girl repaired them free of charge. One week after the repair, the polish came off of one toe on the opposite foot. So at this point, I don't see myself going back. These services are too expensive to have to go back every week for "repairs".

Good price and quick service, but both thumb nails broke off within a day. He didn't want to trim down my nails when he did a full either, that's probably why they broke more easily. I also had something stuck between my nail and the acrylic that I couldn't get out and I asked them too and they wouldn't. They said "it's hard to clean". Kind of a bummer because the salon came well recommended. Oh well!
