Great Clips in Wilmington, NC

I went in about 3 weeks ago and chopped off my hair. I loved my cut and my stylist. I mentioned my SN child needing a haircut and the stylist encouraged me to bring her in. We finally made it back today and Yasmine (and her co-worker) were exceptional with my daughter. They were both gentle and so kind! They took any of the awkwardness out of her sensory issues. Even with resistance (doesn't like being touched) my daughter left with a smile and it was so stress free for me. I will add that the other customers in the salon were also so amazing and sweet to us! Really a great service, decent price, and wonderful experience. Bravo to the current staff for being outstanding.

I will never go back to this location. My two younger kids are exempt from masks. My older child had a mask on however Shawn, the hairdresser, told me he would not accommodate for my children's exemption. I even asked if he could cut their hair outside. I have been going to this location for years with my 4 kids. They have unfortunately lost my business.

I walked in today to get a haircut when I was told a 52min wait time. After about 1hour I checked in to find out my name was taken from the wait system. Then told it would be another 20mins.
Now that I have been there for about 1 1/5 hours they tell me "I don't know if I can cut your hair today. "
Thanks for the wasteful use of my time. I called corporate and even they don't care. Such a horrible business. Never again.

why can't Great Clips tell their customers when they will re-open? Very poor communication.

So incredibly hit or miss. Been going here off and on for about 5 years anytime I feel like I should try to save a dollar. I've had some great haircuts here, I've also had literally some of my worst. Since you can't choose a specific person, it all depends on the luck-of-the-draw and hoping you don't get stuck with one of the bad ones. I think I've finally learned my lesson with this last haircut and will find another location.
