Great Clips in Pacific Grove, CA

I was desperate for a haircut and my "lady" was on vacation. Decided "it's just hair" so I went to Great Clips. Julie cut my hair and I was hooked! She's great, and the price is amazing, even with a big tip. I'll stay here forever!

Got a great haircut today from Eddie. I was a walk-in so I didn't mind waiting; that's normal anywhere. I checked in at 3:30 and was 9th in line, but I actually was finished with my haircut by 4:30. There were only 2 stylists working, but they were fast and experienced. I felt really comfortable just from seeing people's haircuts as they waked out. By the time it was my turn I knew it'd be a threats cut, and it was definitely that. Thanks Eddie, I found my new spot and it's down the block from me.

I cannot comment on the quality of a haircut at this branch of great clips, because I was never able to get a haircut in a timely fashion! I drove from Marina to great clips in PG as they had a better Yelp rating. I did not download and use there phone app as I didn't want to provide my email address and subsequently receive tendless email advertisements for years to come. Michael, I'm talking about you. This has happened with some other retail establishments. So, Without a reservation on a Thursday morning at 10:30 AM the wait time was over one hour. The reason for this extended wait time at such a unpopular time of the day, is that there was only one haircut person available at the store. The manager was not the least, but concerned, as she asked if I could wait over an hour for great clips haircut. to which I replied absolutely not. the Manager said OK, turned in went back to her whatever she was doing. I don't normally trouble myself to write yelp reviews but if they company is exceptional, either good or bad I will write a review. This is been one of the worst first impressions of any business that I've ever experienced.

Apple map took me to a different building. So I got there late little bit. Still my name was on the first of the top of the list and I will see after waiting five minutes. Very nice area parking is full of cars but there is always space Close to the road. The lady is good job on my hair. See picture below. Place was clean. They gave a lollipop to a girl before me. I personally am against sugar because it will cause DK. Next time please give her an apple or Clementine. But do not give her a lollipop unless it's sugar-free.

You would think if you state your business hours you would abide by them. Twice now I've had to wait past the opening time. 10:15. And the it took her another 8 minutes to start seeing the waiting clients. Not even a hello. I should've left. Obviously no tip
