First off, Lee gave me a nice cut and accommodated my requests. However the entire appt was made under false pretenses so I'm upset and feeling swindled. Lee booked my appt request with Rose over the phone but didn't tell me she wasn't Rose until my hair was washed and I was sitting in her chair! She also charged me $10 over what she quoted over the phone. Even if it was warranted, she should have told me before cutting my hair. Tricky lady, beware.
I never will set a foot in there. Lee kept working with three customers at the same time. Not even wanted to dry my hair! This place Has a lock of costumer service and the attention that I was given, was not worth for the price that she charged me. Overprice, rude, not customer care oriented. I will not recommend this place to no one.
I have been to Lee's four times. The first time I went on a whim. I get facials and pedicures with Deborah's Facials, which is located in this cute little Victorian house in Pacific Grove. After several years of cutting my own hair, I decided I needed some professional guidance. My first haircut was $40.00, as she spent time getting to know my hair. I was trying to grow my hair out, mind you I have hair like Janis Joplin. Didn't look good on her, and looked equally not good on me. Lee shaped it up, and I returned three months later. I told her I wanted to go the Bob route. She obliged, and gave me a bob. Subsequent haircuts are $25.00. The next day, woke up, and realized, I am not a bob girl! I made another trip to see her. I told her I wanted it tight on the sides, with a bit of punk on the top, minis the butch look. She thought for a moment, and told me she thought she knew what I had in mind, with a clip, and a couple of snips, she pegged the look I was looking for. She nailed it!!!
Everyone asks me where I got this shaggy cut. Lee! I went in by accident - and saw only very old women getting perms. A bit worried. But there I was, and asked her if she could do a sexy cut like in a magazine photo, and she said she would LOVE to do something different for a change! She knew exactly what to do, it's great, and was $25! What? Yes! So I keep going back.
