Worst experience ever...I took my daughter and son in to get a hair cut. My son went first and near the end of my sons hair cut a worker named Kelly (not the person cutting my son's hair) told me to go sit down in the front of the store that I couldn't be back with him while he was getting his haircut. I explained to her that I have always stood back with my kids at that location and other locations while they get a cut. She said that they allow for little kids, but that my kids are old enough. I told her that my kids want me back with them and in an extremely condescending tone she said "oh are they special needs that they need to have you back with them." My mouth fell open. I could not believe the freaking audacity. I asked her if she was serious and she said I was being combative I turned and asked the person cutting my sons hair if she was done and she was. Needless to say my daughter didn't get her hair cut and I will never use Great Clips again. The old heathen me would have probably had the police called because I would have cursed her out and gone the freak off. but I didn't want to act a fool in front of my kids. My son was very upset and said that he felt like she was calling him retarded.
I'm pretty easy going when it comes to getting my haircut. Sometimes I do splurge and pay way more than any human should, but my, "to go", place has always been a local Great Clips. I've been to several on the KC area (including Olathe, Leawood etc) and this location is the best. I stop in every month and every-time I walk away more than happy.
Parking is easy, sometimes they are short handed but it does not have an impact on their outstanding customer service.

Tried to do the online check in and follow the rules . Waited for 15min for the store to open and the app wasn't working but then they let people in and got bump to 3rd in line... been going to this great clips for the last 3 yrs guess I'll go find another one.
The large woman knew I was waiting and even said hello but she couldn't care less...
Needed a new place to go, since another salon I previously went to just ruined my hair. I decided to go to this place and I checked in online and waited less than a minute. Felt very welcomed by Carrie, who also is very kind and understanding. She knew exactly what I was asking for! Definitely coming back!
Very clean and inviting place to come and get your haircut. I love the check in online function of their app. Brought my munchkin to get a new Dew, and let's just say I was floored by how well it turned out
