Great Clips in Minneapolis, MN

I got an absolutely terrible haircut from George yesterday. It was totally uneven in back and had weird, varying lengths all over. After 20+ years of hit-and-miss experiences at several Great Clips, I can finally say I'm done.

Terrible location, closed the salon even though I was there waiting, and had my name on the list for an hour. The woman behind the desk could not have Karlis and was bad mouthing the salon not a good look on anyone. Avoid this location and use one of the better ones.

This week I have sent letters or emails or reviews to five businesses, each giving a negative feedback on service or the error they made in my order, But I am happy to share a positive review of my first visit to this Great Clips. I live in St. Paul/Como Park area so I usually visit locations on Lexington in the area or another in Roseville. On Thursdays I work in St. Paul near the capital in the morning and then drive to my other job just south of this location for the afternoon. On this last Thursday, I watched the check ins online and when it was to the time or a little more it would take me to drive, I checked in. The staff was friendly when I got there and I got right to a chair and the employee began my number one all over. She started with trimming just below my neck before getting the apron tighten around me and proceeding with the rest of the cut. She did an excellent job on the trimming of my eyebrows, my built in hair cut reminder as they get so long and proceeded with the number one. I was impressed with her attention to detail throughout the entire quick cut and will consider returning to this location again. Thank you for helping restore my faith in customer this week and for the senior discount - age 59. I will be back.......

Great haircuts at a very competitive and reasonable price. This location of great clips has been consistently on point. They're friendly, patient, and give good haircuts. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes here (so long as I check in online and wait until they tell me to head over). I'm a fan and will be back. PARKING: Very easy. This location is in a shopping center with other stores so there is ample parking space. WAIT TIME: not long as long as you check in with the app and only come in once they tell you to head over. STAFF: Friendly and give really good haircuts.

Since I'm not one who likes to linger in any one location more than necessary, this shop may be the solution. With three stylists on duty there was no waiting with an online check in. Located in a bustling service mall in south Minneapolis business was brisk as I was acknowledged immediately and in a chair within two minutes. My hair was cut by an experienced pro who could work magic with a scissors in less time than those who zip through my cuts with clippers. I was impressed by the detailing efforts rarely seen at other locations.
