Great Clips in Littleton, CO

This review is specific to the location at 6756 W Coal Mine Ave, Littleton, CO 80123.  We took our 9 year old son for a routine haircut.  The stylist began the haircut and she noticed that he had a mild case of lice.  We were unaware of the condition and completely understand and support the stores policy of having us leave for the protection of other customers, even though the risk of contamination is extremely low.  However, instead of coming to us discretely, informing us of the situation and asking us to leave, she screamed at us in front of everyone, making our son cry and essentially making a big scene that was completely unnecessary and unacceptable.  Other customers were very supportive of us, several telling her to calm down and stop being mean.  Lice in children is apparently very common.  We did not know this.  The situation has been treated and resolved.  Needless to say, we will not be returning to Great Clips ever.

One lady working, place was very messy, hair everywhere, rushed haircut, long line (30 minutes waiting when I reserved a cut) over priced at $30 and wasn't a great cut. They can do better or go out of business...

I've been here twice now to maintain my somewhat weird, short hairstyle. They have done and excellent job both times, and have even added a new element to my style. I was nervous about going because the reviews aren't great, but I needed maintenance and was short on time and money. I'm glad I took the chance - I now have a new salon that takes half the time and less than half the money of others. If you do go - check in online, then let them know when you're there so they don't think you're still on your way.

"For the first time in forever", or at least three months, I finally was able to get my haircut! What a relief!

I recently moved, and the Great Clips which are closer to me haven't reopened yet. So this location off of Mineral wasn't too far away and had the shortest online check-in wait time than others in the area.

Because we're all coming out of quarantine and getting back into to society, thanks to COVID-19, Great Clips has taken extra precautions to ensure the safety of their employees and customers.

Before you're allowed into the location, you have to answer three or four questions. Once you pass that test, you are asked to either step aside or wait outside to observe the physical distance rule.

My stylist was Ngoc, and she was very respectful. We had a great conversation while she cut my hair. You do need to wear a face covering. Several of my friends who already have had their haircut told me how their stylists accidentally trimmed the elastic on their face masks, so I wore a bandana. That worked out just fine. Ngoc was able to pull it down a little bit when she needed, or asked me to hold onto the front part while she trimmed my neck area.

She joked about how much hair I lost, due to the haircut; nature has already taken care of my hair loss with a bald spot and receding hairline. I asked her if she had to fix anyone's hair who cut their own during the lock down, and she said she did. Some weren't as bad to fix as others. I just let my hair grow wild. And now I feel so much better thanks to Ngoc and Great Clips!

Please be respectful of the staff and business owners. They have gone through a lot during this pandemic, as we all have. The riots haven't helped some businesses. Be safe!
