Very very bad job my son had gone here and he never liked his cut after. We when here for years but then they f'd him up to much we changed to sports clips there's no better.

Well, I debating going to great clips but finally had someone who was able to watch my kids and I was in desperate need of a quick hair cut. Wish I had waited. I asked to cut a good portion of my hair off and that's what she did, a little shorter than I imagined or asked for, but that wasn't the big problem.  My stylist was very nice, but my hair is visibly longer on one side of my head than the other and has weird chunks that are longer/shorter than the rest. It looks so uneven. Hoping my hair grows quickly because the only way to fix it is to cut it even shorter and it's already way shorter than expected. I will not be returning.

I've been going to this Great Clips since I was a kid, so 30 years I've gotten my hair cut here. But after my most recent experience, I won't be returning.

I can't remember the exact day I went in, but it was a weekday probably an hour or so before they close. When I got there the place was empty, I thought that was awesome. But now I get why after seeing all the negative reviews.

The lady that cut my hair was brisk in her work, long day maybe. And she did a fine enough job cutting my hair, but her comments about my hair were rude and unprofessional.

I have very long, curly hair. Having hair like mine is a lot of work, but I know my hair since I've had it since birth. It's soft, and absolutely gorgeous. I take great pride in my hair, and it shows.

After she finished my cut, she commented how dry and brittle my hair is. Full freaking stop. Honey, if that is your tactic to sell women products for their hair you should be ashamed of yourself. Especially when it's clear as day that the hair you're dealing with is light and fluffy. I was absolutely floored she said something so stupid, it was pathetic.

I thanked her for her time, paid for the service and went to see a friend of mine who works in the industry (she no longer cuts hair, otherwise I'd go to her.). I asked for her opinion on my hair, she sat me down and looked my locks over and laughed. Telling me that the woman who just cut my hair either doesn't know what she's talking about, or thought I'd buy whatever she was trying to push.

So ladies, I highly recommend finding somewhere else to get your hair cut -- especially if you're sensitive about your locks. She didn't hurt my feelings, but she sure as hell insulted me in a grotesque attempt to get me to buy a product I clearly don't need.

Generally, my experiences at great clips have been positive ones (sweet people most of the time), except for today. I asked the stylist if she had any clorox wipes or a towel with water to try to clean up the chair before I was willing to sit down (was asking because I wanted to do that myself so she would not have to). I ended up leaving after the attitude became rude like I was evil for bringing up the problem (and after she tried to gaslight me into believing the chair was clean and asked if I wanted a haircut or not). So surreal.
