The past 15 years or so, I come to Colorado Springs every year to visit my sister. During each stay we get pedicures and nails. Having been to at least four different salons, I can honestly state this is my favorite. They are friendly, quality service and reasonable prices.
This is for my wife. She goes there every couple of weeks. Service started slacking off but she doesn't run at the first sign of trouble.
The last time she went in to get her dipping powders on her nails. The young lady even though there wasn't much business, rushed through the appointment and then put acrylic on her nails after being told to not do that. She assured my wife that she wouldn't. She also left her nails with uneven filing. My wife came home and said she would not go back. To be fair the two gentlemen that work there have done excellent work on my wife's nails.
I call and make an appointment, with Jenny. I have shown up on time but twice now she was working on other people and asked me with an appointment to wait.
I did once. but today, I just left. sadly an appointment means nothing to this salon.
I understand a little wait, but it looked like she had just started. won't go back.
Highly recommend to not go here! I painted my fingernails while I got a pedicure just to see how the color looked and the lady said nothing, the manager said nothing and then when I went to pay they told me I had to pay $10 for painting my nails! I said why didn't you say something while I was painting my nails? And she just yelled at me! And the manager was cowardly and didn't say anything and the older lady just kept yelling at me! It was so confrontational and so weird! Terrible customer service! Do not go here.
My daughter who is 17 and I went in for spa mani pedi. They rushed through it and did a sloppy job. I paid the extra 30 each for gel. The gel lifted in 2 days. Never again. What a waste of money.
