Gloss Nail Bar in Lakeland, TN

I get SND dip powder on my nails and Gel on my toes and I always have excellent service at Gloss Nail!!

I ran into Gloss Nail Bar in the Lake District because I did not have time to go to my regular salon. A nice nail technician, Keisha, provided my service of a dip manicure. Keisha seemed to be knowledgeable and professional; however, when I got home I noticed that the work was shoddy and not neat. The dip was messily placed around the cuticles. There were also blotches and ridged edges around several of the nails. Under some of the nails felt like sandpaper. Don't get me wrong, the color was beautiful, but, the details that go into a dip manicure were lacking. I went back the following day to speak to the manager. Before I could ask for a manager, two people waved me to the sign in tablets, before asking me what I needed. I told them that I did not need to sign in because I wanted to chat with the manager. The man who was actually at the desk told me that he was the manager. Again, he was professional and assured me that they could fix my issue by cleaning up the work. I told him that I was in a hurry, but definitely wanted him to see the work that they were producing. He again, kindly suggested that I allow them to fix it. I noticed that one of the nail techs was staring. This is the nail tech that he asked to fix my nails. She was super rude!! She asked me what did I want her to fix. I told her that there were several issues and if she could not see them, there was really no point in me telling her, the expert. She rudely informed me that she was just asking me so she would know what to fix. I was actually a little shocked at the attitude, because she has actually done my nails before, and did an amazing job! I guess sharing your feedback is not welcomed. Anyway, A very kind tech leaned over and told her what she should fix. THANK YOU!!! At that point, I honestly was over it. Just the attitude. I left the salon because I certainly didn't want someone fixing my nails with an attitude. I definitely would never go back. I came in peace. Just to say, hey, this is the work that you all are putting out. Take a step back with your team and improve. Such a beautiful nail salon with hit or miss services. Again, this is not a dig at Keisha or the manager. Both were very nice and professional. The work just was not up to par, and the attitude of the tech that was asked to repair the mistakes was not kind at all. Please don't do me any favors ma'am. I am sharing this review with 3 stars because the salon is immaculate. They have a variety of polishes to choose from. The location is convenient. I've been several times and this was by far the worse quality of work I have experienced. And lastly, the 3 is for the inconsistent attitudes. Do better Gloss Nail Bar!

Super expensive pedicure. I got a regular gel pedicure with red chrome. The bill was $77 before tip. I was told the "chrome" color was an extra $15. If it was a good pedicure, I wouldn't be that upset. They literally spent 2 minutes on my cutacles and 2 mins scrubbing my feet. Hot towels don't count. They should be more informative about extra pricing for certain colors. Won't be back.

Great and thorough service! had issues with one if my toes and they were so careful and helpful. will def return.

I love the attention to detail and the staff was kind. The atmosphere was relaxing too.
