Glace Nails in Olathe, KS

The place was dirty and not well kept. The lady that did my manicure was rough my cuticles are splitting and bleeding. I well not go back.

I cannot say enough good things about Glacé Nails. This is the second time I've gotten a full set done by Tracy and she is the best! Friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and timely yet beautiful service. Even though they are short-handed, they work hard to accommodate. I love my nails so much and won't be going anywhere else anytime soon. Showed Tracy an inspiration picture and she replicated it perfectly if not better. Love!!

I have to say I love this place. I got a pedicure and a full set French manicure. My French manicure is flawless. It's been almost 3 weeks and I'm getting ready to go in for a fill. I them.

Sadly, Glace Nails has deteriorated over the last several months.  I don't know if there has been a change of ownership or management,  whatever the reason, it has gone downhill.  I have made appointments only to have to wait 20 minutes past my time and have left on other occasions when my appointment time was ignored.  Walk in service is no better.  I walked in yesterday, 2 workers, one in a pedi chair who asked if they could help me.  I asked for a mani pedi, she told me to ask the guy working.  He began to fill the pedi chair, another person came in who said she had an appointment.   I was told I would have to wait.  I would have done so, however, there was no explanation as to why the other worker could not assist me, so I left.  I went back today and was told I would have to wait long time.  I saw 3 workers and 3 clients.  Ok, not interested in waiting a long time I left again.  As I mentioned,  it doesn't seem to matter if you have an appointment or walk in, it takes a long time.  
The cleanliness of the salon is sorely lacking.  The last 2 times I was actually able to get service, there were nail clippings all over the floor.  I pointed it out both times, the first it was swept, the second the clippings were ignored.  I doubt the tools are being properly sanitized anymore.
Why is it so difficult to find a clean, well run nail salon?
The employees were friendlier, any issues addressed and the salon was cleaner some time ago,

I scheduled my appointment for 10 am a week in advance. Got there at 9:58 and no one was there. I waited a few mins and even called...nothing. By noon I called back and Tracy spoke to me as if I was in the wrong, as if I missed the appointment. I WAS a recurring client that was never late and had never canceled, but she spoke to me as if she was irritated with me. When I asked to reschedule she said she couldn't get me in for over a week. No apology, no accommodation.

The time before that, I walked in and when I opened the door a large metal piece fell and hit my shoulder. No workers asked if I was ok...a client did. When I sat down with Tracy she said "you're lucky it didn't hit you in the head haha." My thought was no YOU'RE lucky it didn't hit me in the head.  I will not go back. Neither will my mom or sister. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!
