Get Twisted Hair Studio in Teaneck, NJ

I have been sending my children to this place for a while now. They had a really nice stylist named Cici(CeeCee); literally the only reason we continued to go there. As of lately she hasn't been there. We found out she no longer works there. Since then the price continues to go up, every time with a different excuse. In addition plan to spend your whole day there! They do not respect people's time, especially not the children. The owner was so hung up on charging me an extra $30 saying that her employee misquoted $120 and she changed the price to $150. Welp they have lost some loyal clients! A price should always be given in the beginning, especially if its increasing.

If i could give no stars I would but unfortunately it's not possible. There is no sense of professionalism at all, the environment was unwelcoming and oppressive. Never again!

I've been here many times to get my hair done and today will be my last. I booked an appointment two weeks ago for Passion Twists, got several confirmations of my appointment only to show up and be unapologetically told that my appointment basically didn't matter because "V" had a client who wasn't on the schedule coming in at 3. Like seriously?? What kind of business is that?? I'll NVER be back here again, and neither should you.

My first time there was fine so I decided to go back. I made an appt online for box braids. When I got there the salon was packed, so much so that I had to stand by the door. I waited there standing by the door for an hour. What is the point of scheduling appointments if it doesn't matter. I understand a wait but how could you have a customer standing for an hr. Needless to say I will not be going back there; they obviously don't value their customers time. I eventually walked out...someone else will get my money

It was my first time here. Lord was on our side with the amount of time I had not been to the salon but Cee Cee is a miracle worker! She not only has a singing voice that helped my tender head feel calm throughout the process she was extremely informative, loving, understanding and respectful of how to work with my head. I let her know I had a sensitive head and she did gave my head nothing but love. The vibration in this salon was a warm welcome to NJ not too mention a guaranteed returning client. All the staff was beyond attentive and exceptionally friendly. Supreme and Sheryl were both saints that brought a warm welcoming all together. I love that Cee Cee didn't just take her time to make sure I was leaving the salon with a clean and beautifully done set of locs but also with a strong embrace that I will never forget. I'm only doing 5 stars because that's the most I can do. 10/10, Cee Cee really knew what she was doing and gave me guidance on any concern I had. The establishment is lovely and prices are great. Could never contest that I received a treatment worth every dollar!
