I had an appointment at 12pm, Carmen was a little behind schedule I didn't get my service started until about 12:50pm.. which I was upset at first but that changed real quick for me! She is super fast at what she does! Definitely loved how my cut came out! The products she used on my hair made my hair look so nice and smooth definitely need to go back to buy those products! I just wanted to test them out for the day to see if they worked for me. There is only 2 ladies working at this location. Just make sure you have enough time when coming here. Like I said it's only 2 workers and it's a small location there is only about 4 chairs for waiting customers.

I have been coming since I was young and I have always worked with the wonderful staff throughout my hair journey from having curly hair to now having colored hair. I have never been disappointed. I always leave with what I want done to my hair. I always love coming back; it's as if I'm coming to visit family. I highly recommend.

Stay away from this Salon at all costs! I called LetyR before making an appointment and told her I bleached my hair and wanted it "Toned" only, no color. She said she could Tone it. I went in on Nov 1 and she added more bleach to the parts I did not bleach. My bleached parts had some reddish shades that didn't bleach out and I told her I just wanted it all Toned so the "red" wouldn't come through. She then put what she said was "Toner" and my hair turned horrible, vibrant GREEN! All my hair was GREEN; not "Ash" but GREEN! The top was very "bright green!" A customer walked over to stare and an employee came by to look at my hair, then walked to the back to speak with Lety. Lety said she needed to put "another Toner" to "cancel out the green". She came back and started applying what did not look like "Toner" to me and I asked her if it was Toner because it did not look like Toner. She said it was. After it was washed out, my hair was all brown. Even the "White" parts that I wanted White were a medium brown. She gave me several explanations and said it looked "dark" because it was wet but that she couldn't dry it due to my bleaching and it needed to "air dry". She said it would wash out after about 3 washes. I contacted her 3 days later because it was still dark. I asked her again if she put Toner or color. She said she "had to use both". She said she put Toner but a little bit of color" because she had to fix the green. She then put her daughter on the phone and she repeated what Lety said. She said it would "wash out after a few washes". I contacted her on Dec. 6 to tell her that it did not wash out like she said it would and that because it did not wash out like Toner washes out, I wanted to know what she put in my hair. She started to tell me that she put Toner and color, then changed her statement and said it was "only Toner". I reminded her that she and her daughter both told me she put "both". She denied putting color and repeated that she only put "Toner". I said I wanted my money $115 refunded because my hair was not toned and it was all brown. She said she would refund my money if I came in on Monday. Then on Sunday evening she texted me that she spoke to her manager and they would not refund my money. She tried to justify not refunding my money by saying she spent a lot of time on my hair and put a lot of product but her lack of knowledge is not my problem and I should not have to pay for extra time because she obviously didn't know what she was doing. Plus, if I wanted my hair colored brown, I would have colored my hair brown to begin with and not gone to a salon to have it "Toned". I specifically told her before going and when there that I only wanted it "Toned". I did not want it Green either! When saying she had to put another "Toner" to get rid of the green and tone the rest, I said that was fine but she did not put Toner. Rather, she put COLOR in my hair. I'd gone to Lety before and she always did a great job on my hair when she was at a salon in Pilsen. When she turned my hair green and then all brown, I realized that when she was in the other salon, the salon owner often gave suggestions to her. I realized after this horrible experience that she only did a good job before because a qualified person was telling her what to do. It's one thing if we are in agreement of what is taking place but when a business employee lies and provides false statements to consumers, it becomes consumer fraud. Had she told me she was going to use a "Color" to try to get the green out, I would have told her not to. I did not have that choice because she lied to me. Now, I have to bleach out or remove the brown COLORANT she put in my hair. Lety also didn't seem to care that I was submitting a Consumer Complaint to the Attorney General's Office. She said, "Do as you wish." My advice to Consumers out there is to skip this place at all costs. Not only is the a perfect example of "incompetence" but to defraud me and make false representations about what is being put into my hair is not ok. I will be seeking a full refund of the $115 she charged, plus the $20 tip, since she did not deserve it and she lied to me several times.

This place is great. The stylists are very polite, professional, informative and helpful. It's in a good location and walk- ins are accepted. The rates are very very reasonable. It's very clean and covid guidelines are being followed. I am completely satisfied and do highly recommend to others. They even do eyebrows. They also service men and children and again the rates are very very reasonable. thank you ladies for your time, effort, patience and professionalism. I'm definitely coming back and this time I'm bringing my sister.

Carmen and the other workers are great. This place is affordable and if you communicate well on how you want your hair you will not come out disappointed. Prices for women hair cuts are $15.00-$17.00 I always get my hair cuts here because of the amazing prices and results.
