When I pay with my credit card, the machine asks for 25% tip at the least. I have to choose custom to give standard 20%. 20% is good, especially on a $30 haircut. This is a form of shaming since everyone knows what's going on with the additional button pushing and time it takes to do a custom tip. You are trying to manipulate me by shame to give more than a fair and standard 20% tip. This is a disgusting thing to do to your customers. I will not come here again.
Bare minimum haircut. Felt like I was being rushed and couldn't tell the girl cutting my hair exactly what I wanted because it was so fast paced. When she was combing my hair she literally ripped out chunks and was not being cautious whatsoever. They were confused about their own prices, and was disrespectful towards another customer when I was there. They refused her service because her hair was "tangled". Isn't a barbershops job to fix hair that needs help? I am writing this review because I don't want other customers to make the same mistake I did.
How is it Floyd's has the audacity to say they give excellent service when their Barbers state their schedule online and you book appointment, only to be called 35 minutes before appointment and told "Your Barber went to go do something for 2 hours, so we need to reschedule you and we don't have any other appointments available today". Excellent service is when your Barbers honor their commitments to serving your customers. Now I would certainly understand if there was a family emergency...yet somehow had to go do stuff does not convey emergency to cancel an appointment 35 minutes before appointment. But hey, my Mother is in Hospice Care and I just wanted to look my best for what time she has left to see her son...so what do I know.
Been going to chamae for over 4+ years I won't let anyone else touch my hair besides her!! Lol I have never been disappointed and you won't either!! She's a real down to earth person and very friendly!! If you want some clean fresh braids with a crispy line up!! Bam!! she's yo girl!!!
I've been going to chamae for awhile now, she is definitely one of best barbers I've ever had the pleasure working with, I'm picky with my hair and she always takes the time to listen to my needs, I've followed her around for a couple shops and currently drive all the way from Lakewood to have her cut my hair. If your looking for design or braid, fade or just a cut she's my definite go to!! Thanks Chamae!
