FIVE STAR NAILS in Maryland Heights, MO

I went there for the first time. The tech took a brush from her colleague who had used it on her customer - without sanitizing it and then used it on another customer. I paid extra for the extra sugar scrub, and the scrub was only 10 seconds. No kiddin'!!!

Will not be back.

I went to the salon on Friday before Easter for a gel pedi. It seemed ok until I got home and realized the polish was splotchy and my big nail on my left foot was sticky, and not shiny.
I returned the next morning to try to get that fixed and a full set of nails. There were only 3 techs there, but it was not really full and busy. There were a couple of people waiting, and techs all had someone in their chairs. I asked when I arrived (around 10:30) how long the wait would be. She replied just a few minutes, well after waiting an hour  I stood up and announced that I could not wait any longer.
I feel like the day before a special holiday like Easter that the salon should have been FULLY staffed with EXPERIENCED techs. I don't feel like the techs were that experienced or they could have moved faster doing the nails and pedi's. They seemed to moving very slow at completing the customers in front of me. I have not been back here in over a year due to the same issues. I thought to give them another try, but it did not work out.
I am unsure now what to do about the bad polishing job, in which the GEL is 15.00  EXTRA. That was ALOT extra to pay for a crappy job.  Maybe the more experienced staff is at the new location now, as they probably make more money in that area.  Its a shame that the same results cannot be achieved at both salons.  I only gave 1 star because I am forced to. I would give this salon NO STARS

Great social distancing and friendly staff. Not sure what everyone is being grumpy about ! Came in here early as a walk in was immediately helped and seated. I always bring my own polish and the gentleman helping me was kind, efficient and thorough. For $29 for a deluxe pedicure I'm more than happy with the results !

Tiffany and Corey were the best! They are super friendly and the service was outstanding. We were sat down ASAP and they started doing our nails immediately! My nails look amazing and they are by far the best In town. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

Fantastic service here. No drama, no infighting with the staff. Just very peaceful. I've been to other salons where I thought I'd end up throwing fists just to get it out the door.
Best feature besides the service is how hygienic everything is. Pedicure tubs are lined with plastic. The tools are placed in a machine for cleaning. And with the pedicures you don't share product- everything is in individual packets used just for you.
