Liz Nails in Maryland Heights, MO

My first time here was about 2 weeks ago-- the gentleman took his time and did a good job on my nails. They have lasted as well as expected. Going in for a fill today, hopefully I have the same experience.

The one star is only because they at least held a conversation with me. Lets just say I did not get a top coat on my toes even when I brought it to her attention she just waived it off!
I was required to come home to remove the excess polish that was on my fingers. Very limited gel and matching regular polish options (everyone does not want a gel pedicure)
The place had a weird stench- like urine
They are very pricey..... I've tried all of the other nail places on Dorsett and they are 10 dollars more than the other places.

Needless to say I did not leave a tip and after all of this and seeing a coach roach that the owner had to kill..... I WILL NEVER return.

This place was terrible! When a friend and I walked in we were greeted with what do you want. We had a lady, she treated my friend poorly because she didn't want gel nails. Probably because there was a 20 dollar difference between regular polish and gel. I would never go back here!! The polish doesn't even look even!

We were going to come in and use a coupon for pedicures we received on a flyer. We wanted to get in early so we got there after them being open for 15 minutes, and we walked in we were greeted with " Were too busy. Come back in an hour" in a snappy tone and there was only 1 customer in the salon. We went elsewhere and will never give this place a chance, coupon or not. According to others reviews they need a change in workers, management, or something.

I have been getting gel nails for almost 20 years. When I moved to St. Louis 4 years ago a found a place I loved and stuck to it. But I was having a busy week last week and needed my nails done and this place was right next to the coin laundry I was at (since our washer had just broke). I went in for a fill, Tommy did my nails. I specifically told him that I had 2 nails that were loose and needed to be replaced. Instead of listening, he just filled over them. 2 days later one of the nails came off while I was holding a bag of hashbrowns. I went to have the nail repaired. Instead of standing behind their work Susan, the owner, was very rude, said I had to have broken it off being careless and would have to pay to have the nail repaired. After arguing with her for 5 minutes I left, broken nail and all. On top of that, the gel polish is already chipping!!!! I mean, really! I will never go back, and I suggest you go to a place that stands behind their work like elite nail salon.
