Fells Point Salon in Baltimore, MD

I went back after a year and got the same quality and care from Melanye while I was sitting. Great atmosphere and very "neighborhood." People who come in an out seem to know each other and it's good to see such positive energy there, which seems to wind up making my hair look great due to Melanye's eye and skill..

I followed my stylist, Emma, from her own salon, Zoom Hair Studio, to this location on Eastern. I knew of Fells Point Salon when they shared a space with Sabita's Threading on South Ann because I had gotten my brows done by Sabita. I was shocked at the condition of this space--it definitely needed some love. Emma, of course, did a great job but I'm uncertain if I'll return to this salon. I'm sad. I hope Emma finds a better spot...

I have been a client for several years and got haircuts from many stylists and never had a problem (granted I have very long hair and only need to have dry ends cut. I never needed anything complicated). My mom was in town from another country and I wanted to treat her to an expensive ($300) Keratin treatment to tame her frizzy hair. I have to say this price also included a haircut. We were instructed not wash the hair for as long as possible and use sulfate-free shampoos. She had had Keratin treatments done before, so we knew the drill. Over the years, we have had different results (from really effective to not so effective but still helpful) but this time the treatment did not work at all. I am not sure whether it was the product or my mom's hair needed more product. I called the salon to let them know and they said they were sorry it had not worked and offered to re-do the service at no charge next time mom is in town which may not be for another year or more and we may or may not live in the area any more. Long story short, while I had never had any problems with my haircuts, I cannot recommend this place for Keratin treatments.

Really liked the place offered trimming up throughout the week until you need the hair cut again. It is free! I like that a lot very nice environment, actually know what they are doing. Out of getting haircuts from chicago, Pittsburgh, philly and dallas. The service here was great and price was very reasonable

Wow. Great place. Was traveling and needed a quick blowout. They fit me right in and let me adjust my appointment Darren is great. Highly recommend it.
