J T Nails in Baltimore, MD

The sign on the door may say "Walk Ins Welcome ". Well I was not treated very welcome. I walked in at 11:00 am and was told that I would have to wait until 1:00 pm. I was understanding so I waited the 2 hours. It's now my turn at 1:00 but I was ignored. 1:10 she pulled out her phone and played on it for awhile before going to the back and taking a break. She then sat down in the back and began doing pedicures and stared at me as if I was crazy. So I guess Walk Ins aren't really welcome so don't do it.

I came to this nail salon one afternoon hoping for a quick gel manicure. I walked in right behind another patron. She was called back after advising she would be getting a full set. There were other technicians hanging out and after about 5 minutes of them attempting to avoid eye contact with me, I was summoned to a station. A couple of things I was not pleased with: the employees were talking soooo loud back and forth to each other having a GREAT time. They were speaking in their (foreign) language and just loud. Definitely not a relaxing experience at all which is what I like when I go to get my nails/ toes done. Also, a gel manicure took an hour. I'm not sure if the woman servicing me was new or just slow but I couldn't understand why I was still in the chair 10 minutes after the woman who started a full set right before me was out the door. My nails looked neat and pretty but the avg time for a gel mani is 30 minutes so that's definitely something they need to work on. As well as keeping their chatter to a minimum or just being mindful of the atmosphere they are creating for their customers. I don't plan on revisiting this business.

Ive been coming here for year. Anne is the best with doing eyebrows and really the only reason i drive 45 mins from home to come here, at least once a month. Expect to wait for up to an hour or more if you didn't already schedule an appointment. Today, a wed. at 330p i arrived and wasn't seen til about 445. There were 3 people who came in after me with no appt who were shown the pedicure chair. I wasn't there for a pedicure, but i was pretty disappointed that i was still skipped over. the people who were doing pedicures are also able to do fill-in's because they've done mine before (all but one) so i was irked by that. They did some repainting of the shop and it doesn't look well. It's a algae green, so the feng shui of the place is def. off. Perhaps they are not done decorating yet..

I go there all the time and I love it there and the people are awesome they do a wonderful job on my nails I would recommend them to everyone

Stay away from this place. Went for a pedicure and can honestly say this was the worst pedicure I've ever received. I had to give the technician instructions on how to properly do my pedicure. I will never return here.
