Fantastic Sams Cut & Color in Parrish, FL

This place was recommended to me by a woman in the nail shop. She said that the gal I've worked with working in a really expensive salon. So I went in to get my roots done. They were only grown out about a quarter inch. She put on color easily up to an inch on the hair shaft. Then when she washed it out she didn't take care to change the color of my blonde. Then she decided to blow dry my hair with a metal brush. That's a big no-no. It just made my hair more frizzy. When I went in I said if you can make my hair straight and smooth and so it doesn't frizz I will be a customer for life. Well she change the color of my blonde to an ashy color. I hate it. And since she use the metal brush to blow dry my hair as soon as I walked out the door it was frizzy. So this is a big no-no if you're thinking of going there they charged me $160 to ruin my hair. I even called and spoke with the manager about the charge and how she ruined my hair color. She said they don't give refunds so I said well how about a free blow dry? Thought I was speaking a different language she was apoplectic. So don't go to a Fantastic Sams even if someone recommends them. I really regret regret going there because now I have brown roots and ashy strands. I c

Great costumer service and a nice clean place! But, if you have super thick hair (mine is thick, wavy, and long **well, not long anymore....**) - I recommend spending the money on a salon that can/will take their time with your cut. I made a second appointment the same day as my cut at Fantastic Sam's in order to fix what was done to it there. I'm sure this place will work well for different situations, but my hair was butchered :( Thankfully I am not super attached to its style or the length, but I wanted to write an honest review to save someone else the hassle and disappointment. I feel bad writing this because the staff was so nice, but paying for two cuts is a bummer.

I should have listened to the Mrs. Advice. Never get a haircut from a stylist with colorful hair. I had 2 appointments over two months but it took an additional 3 fix ups to correct the issues. So the search goes on for a good men's haircut in Parrish.

My daughter and I both had our hair colored by Helena. Best color I have ever had. She listened to me on the color highlights I wanted and she did exactly what I was hoping for. She also did fun highlights for my daughter in purple and teal. It is so cute. We got home and my daughter in law made an appointment with her too. We will all be back. TY !!!

I've had my hair cut here twice and both times the stylist was very good at listening what I looking for and did very well. So why am i giving them a four...SMELL of Permanents is not good. I've always disliked that smell and tried very hard when I did my brides to get the low/no odor perms, so yes I'm sensitive to that smell. Wish I could go there and get a cut without the odor because every other place I've tried does NOT do a good job
