Fancy Nails in West Des Moines, IA

I saw the lower rating for this nail spa, but surprise! They were great! Got a gel pedi with a friend and we both LOVED IT. Very friendly, great efficient, clean and awesome "finished product". Toes look great.

Perhaps you have tried several other nail shops--here is another small shop that is family owned for you to add to your list. The shop is under a new owner (Pham). Pham is very conscientious about her shop with wonderful ideas. The spa pedicure and dip was very relaxing. Even though there are a plethora of up and coming nail shops, you just may want to give this one a try.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! I went with a couple friends and had never been to this salon before and will never go back! I had a pedicure and a full set dip. The pedicure went alright in the start but there is absolutely no packages to choose from just a $40 dollar pedicure they do on everyone. The nail tech didn't even exfoliate the dead skin cells. In which they then put so much oil on my legs i had to use dawn dish soap to get it off and it stained my leather interior. I ended up picking a color that didn't show up well so she grabbed me a different color. When she did she didn't wipe off the other color instead painted on top of it. I should've stopped right there but instead I got my full set dip and when I say she put 5 coats of dip powder.. There were 5 coats of dip powder making my nails huge and fat. Which in contrary to belief 5 coats do not save the nails from coming off. They make it worse and my nails came off in a week. I don't know where they got their training but they obviously need it again. I did have her put tip extenders on as my nails were quite short. The nails were all over the place from there. After putting 5 coats and saying she was going to even out the nails and shape them she ended up giving me to someone else because I was trying to tell her that my nails were uneven. The next lady tried her best to correct the situation but there are now flat spots on my nails from where she put the dip powder to connect the tip extender which looks awful and I have never had anywhere else. The nails are still uneven even after constantly telling them they were uneven.. The whole experience was awful and if I could I would give them a -10 for the awful service. I am not the type of person to complain but if it helps another poor soul I will try to help.

HORRIBLE!! Went to this place for Halloween nails, and they were terribly rude about what I wanted. They did a horrible job with the acrylics and design. I was complete disappointed and did not want to pay $37 for what they gave me.  DO NOT GO HERE if you have the choice.

One of the worst dip manicure as I've ever had. I'm at home now and gluing my skin from my nails. They never had me wash my hands either. No lotion or massage at the end. Will never go back
