Highly, highly recommend McKenzie at Fabu for haircuts, highlights and lowlights...especially if you have naturally red hair. I absolutely love the dimension she created and the haircut. McKenzie not only cleaned up my hair, created a flattering shape, and took out weight without creating fly aways but she fixed another salon's highlights/lowlights after I let it grow out for a few months. McKenzie really knows what she is doing and does so very professionally. I felt she took care in processing the color and limited any dryness that occurs via highlights/lowlights. She does what you ask, is very attentive, and clarifies to make sure she understands exactly what you are trying to achieve. The whole experience was very pleasant. The appointments at Fabu tend to book out a few weeks to around 6 weeks but they have a waitlist for appointments that open up due to cancellations. Thank you McKenzie for an amazing hair style; I will definitely be returning. They also sell Davines' products, this is how I actually found the salon.

I live in South Carolina and travel to Severna park to see family once every couple months. Lisa is always able to fit me in some how and when I tell you this woman is a color genius I mean it. She's given me more confidence with the absolute best red color of my life. I have more people stop me even months later to tell me how beautiful my color is. But the best part about Fabu is that every stylist there is literally like that too. They are crazy good at what they do.

I recently found out about this salon and I couldn't be happier! It's so unassuming in a little strip shopping center but don't let that fool you. It's ran by some of the nicest people and I have a blast every time I go, it's like seeing old friends. Mckenzie is the stylist I go to and I will never use another person again. She is absolutely incredible and so skilled I couldn't ask for better. I have very short hair and she gave me the most beautiful, long extensions that blend seamlessly which is quite the impossible task. It's hard enough to find someone in the area that does hand tied weft extensions let alone someone who does them so perfect. She takes her time, she listens to what you want, and I am always left happier than I ever thought possible!! She even added in matching highlights that flow so perfectly with the extensions you can't even tell where my hair ends and they begin. Mckenzie is by far the most skilled stylist I have ever met and I would trust her implicitly with any hair style, hair cut, color, or extensions!

Love this place ! The energy is so positive and relaxed. Each stylist is so supportive and nurturing. I highly recommend making time for this gem!!

I previously had a horrible cut/color at a salon, so I when we moved to MD I was reluctant to try a new salon. Finally after more than a year of not doing a thing to my hair, I bit the bullet and tried Fabu'... No regrets. My appointment was with Joy, I explained my previous experience and she listened to what I wanted, offered suggested and did a fabulous job. The entire staff were very friendly, very busy but very laid back. It was very comfortable. I will be going back to Joy and bringing my Daughters as well!
