My experience here was really good today! I walked in and saw customers waiting with smiles. I also felt the Christmas vibes and saw the beautifully decorated Christmas tree. My stylist Alesia was very professional and skillful. Everyone walked out with beautiful impressive hairstyles! The staff is friendly and the facility was nice and clean. I enjoyed my hairstyle as well.

Got my hair done last week from a young lady by the name of Avery! She was Awesome! Very professional, and she has skills. My hair grew so I wasn't ready for a trim but we all know THATS a regiment for healthy hair. Well she didn't cut a lot at all She deep conditioned and shampoo the mess out of my hair LITERALLY. Well I'm a satisfied customer thanks AVERY!

Just got a shampoo deep conditioner and flat iron style from student stylist Ilescia. She is awesome! Very friendly, personable and most important very skilled! She discussed the other services (i.e. manicure, pedicures and facials) the school provides. This young lady took the time to discuss hair care!!! She suggested peppermint shampoo for my dry scalp, which is why she gets 4 stars!!!
I would have given my experience this visit a 5 stars review, but due to Ms. Johnson(instructor) zero professionalism, tone and highly inappropriate comments to her students I'm giving my visit 4 stars.  Perhaps the teacher will learn some people skills!  Please don't let the rude instructor scare you off. Just ignore her negativity!
The students work hard, the school offer services using quality products at a great price!

I've never had an issue with this location. Everyone is so nice and professional. I've been coming here for years. They use really good products and a blow out is like 10 bucks!! Can't beat it!

This place is similar to your average neighborhood salon. Services are provided by students working toward their cosmetology license, so it's best once you go to talk and find out who the advanced students are, and then you can ask for them by name.
I've gone twice to have my locs retwisted, and the last time (a couple weeks ago) got a color and a rod set. It turned out beautifully and cost a fraction of what it would've at a traditional salon. Retwist: $18 Color: $25 Set: $20 Deep Conditioning Treatment: $3. I could've come out of $100 easily at a salon for just the retwist.
But there is a caveat: they take all DAMM day. I haven't been out in under 3 hours yet, and the last time it was closer to 5. So be forewarned: the prices are low and the service is good, but these are students, so they can be slow, and b/c prices are so low, the wait is a long one. Get there at 8:45 a.m. and beat the line.
