I'm not one to ever make a review about a business because I usually understand and give them second chances. My daughter went in for just a gel manicure and I expected a quick and easy treatment... no instead we got her cuticle line ripped off in two different sections FOR THE SECOND TIME. They tried to put nail glue on top and rubbed off the blood on a used rag that had nail polish on it. They did not even clean the utensils from the previous person. Now my daughter has an infection. Please save yourself the time and go else where
Nice clean facility, got me in immediately for a dip manicure with no appointment. I showed my technician a picture of pink nails with multiples daisies on each nail, and after 'erasing' the same daisy multiple times to restart, he put a single daisy on my ring finger on each hand, so just two daisies total, when the picture showed 2-3 daisies per nail. I was in a hurry and did like the look of the single daisy so I did not say anything about it, which is on me. My total before tip was $52, it said on the screen that the dip was $45 and the 'design(2)' was $7. So would it have been $3.50 per daisy if I wanted multiple on each finger? I understand charging more for a design, but I was a little confused about the pricing, but again, I didn't ask any questions, but thought it was a little overpriced for not even getting what I wanted. I left decently pleased with my manicure, but two days later one of my nails chipped, which warranted 3/5 stars.
I have been going to Dynasty Nails on North Peters Road since they opened their doors and have never been disappointed. Paul is my technician of choice and has been for the past 4/12 years. I am a bit picky about my nails and so is he. He is very thorough and goes the extra mile. The place of business is very clean. They sanitize their instruments and use a plastic liner when doing your pedicures so lessens the chance of cross-contamination. Everyone is so very friendly and do a great job of making you feel comfortable and cared for.
Dynasty is my favorite place to get my nails done in Knoxville! I've never had a bad experience there. The technicians take their time and are very talented! The pedicures are amazing too.
me and one of my friends went to this place to get matching nails, and she had a great nail tech -mai- who got her nails finished in about an hour, while on the other hand my nail tech -john- was terrible. the lines were all crooked, and they weren't filed properly and he even finished at about an hour and a half, but then completely took off all of the jell and restarted. not to mention he filed my cuticles off with the electric filer. mind you he started my nails about 15 minutes before my friend but somehow finished about 45 minutes later. we had tickets for a movie afterwards and we were 15 minutes late. me personally i would not recommend coming here, but if you do, do NOT get john as your nail tech.
edit: both of our nails hurt really bad too.
my nails are the ones with the watch and the bright lighting.
