Weekends, especially Saturday mornings and afternoons, are often peak times for many hair salons. Additionally, weekday evenings can be busier due to clients visiting post-work. It's always a smart move to book in advance, but if you prefer a quieter environment, you can ask Drybar - Indianapolis about their less hectic hours.
awful. I told him the style that I wanted from the style book and the stylist sat me down in front of a television set, so there was no mirror, and I could not see what he was doing. At the end, my hair was flat and looked like I had just rolled out of bed and wasn't at all like the style that I picked. It was a complete waste of money. I was in from out of town for a formal event and didn't have any time to go back to the hotel and try and fix it so I had to go to the event looking and feeling awful.
A perfectly lovely treat - get a blowout while enjoying a beverage! While my hair looked good, I don't necessarily feel it was styled like the specific picture I chose. It was a well done blowout and curl. I would go back and enjoy again. I'd be curious to see if different pics yield different styles or it's really just as I experienced: a generally well curled blowout.
Sat in restaurant next door and decided I would make an appointment for Drybar next door. It was 2:45pm. Next available appointment was at 3:15pm and lots of openings after that according to their website.
Rather than book online, I just jumped up and walked next door. I walked in and asked if I could get a blowout at 3:15pm. Receptionist response, "nah".
-pause-
I said, "May I book online since there seems to be a lot of openings this afternoon on your website?"
She says, "no, our online system and our store booking system do not match up."
Be careful booking online, apparently it will say they have lots of appointments when they do not.
My daughter and I both got our hair done for a Mother's Day treat. My daughter liked that she got to choose the show she watched although she couldn't hear it. I was not very impressed. I got a very rushed wash, my hair was blown dry but no brushes were used to try and add volume so it was really flat. I then got a very quick curl and I was sent on my way. My hair fell out after a few hours and honestly my hair looked like I did it at home. There was nothing special, I could had saved the money. They only way I could see thins being worth it is if you needed an updo or you are the type of person who never does your hair to begin with otherwise, I'll be saving my money next time. My daughter was cute while it lasted but again, didn't look any different then how we do it at home. I would had like to feel pampered and had some volume in my hair but instead I felt rushed out and as if I wasted $200.
This my first visit and I will be back. I needed a style for going out for my anniversary. Tiffany did my blowout and curl. She gave me much wanted volume. The products smelt great and kept my hair curled from afternoon until evening. Extremely satisfied. They sell clear dry shampoo so I purchased that too.
